Joey Caster~ Tequila
Your POV
I looked over to the club. It had glowing neon pink and green lights from the top of it. There was a red carpet leading from the front door, which was guarded by two buff black guys. I walked down the carpet and gave the guards a stern look before I went inside
I was immediately greeted by the blasting music of Maroon 5's Animals. I walked around until I sat by the wooden bar. They had velvet stools to sit on while you wait for a whiskey or possibly a beer
"What'll it be?" The tender questioned me as he was polishing a glass cup with a napkin
"Give me a water bottle, except fill it with tequila" I requested
"Got it" He nodded and went to the back room. I waited a good minute before he cam back out with the 'water'
"Thanks" I mumbled and gave him the money for it. I hopped off the seat and took a gulp of the tequila. I walked around some more while screwing the lid back onto the bottle. I looked up and saw some guy not really amused in the conversation he was in with a girl. She was dressed in one of those stripper outfits. I went over and tapped the man on the shoulder. He spun around and I saw what he looked like. He had brown hair that was combed out of his face and poked up. He had on a grey vest over a blue shirt with skinny black jeans and brown dress shoes
"You don't really seem engaged into your conversation with that stripper" I commented
"Not really. She was discussing gossip about the others" He shrugged
I smiled. "I'm y/n"
"I'm Joey Caster. It's nice to meet you" He returned the smile and held out his hand. I shook it quickly and casted my gaze back down to my bottle
"Do you want this water? I don't really want it anymore" I handed him the water bottle filled with tequila. He replied with a smirk
"I'll take it" He opened it up and swallowed all of it (That's what she said... again)
"You do realize that wasn't actually water, right?" I pondered
"I know. Tequila" He replied
"How did you-" I started, but he interrupted me
"Anyone can tell the difference between the clearness of water and the funky stench of tequila" He chuckled
"Some can't. I mean, my sister fell for that trick back in the tenth grade and got wasted off tequila from a plastic bottle" I chuckled back to lighten the mood. "Question, have you seen a girl with dyed purple hair with blue eyes and a nose piercing? I was supposed to meet her tonight" I pondered
"Nope, sorry," Joey shook his head, "but why can't you text her?"
"Left my phone at my house to charge" I explained
"Well, you're smart"
"Why thanks" I took the sarcasm
"As long as you're here, do you want to dance?" He questioned
"Sure" I shrugged as we started dancing throughout the dance, forgetting about everything and everyone else around us
