Digging into Reaper's Past
An: Before you start reading I'm sorry if this chapter sucks. I'm trying to give you little more of Lena's past.

"Lena please calm down." I said grabbing her hand gently in mine.
"I have to stay away from you!" She said pulling her hand free of mine.
"Why?" I asked as my heart began to pound. "Why do you have to stay away from me Lena?
"He'll hurt you if I don't!"
"Who is he and why will he hurt me?"
"Because he knows you're someone I care about!"
"Who is he?"
"I...I can't!" She yelled. "I can't tell you." This time her voice was almost unheard. "Please. Please Ciel."
"Okay. Sebastian take her home." I said.
"Thank you." Sebastian picked her up bridal style and jumped out the window.

"Who is he and why will he hurt me?" The Phantomhive boy asked.
"Because he knows you're someone I care about!" Lena yelled.
'Yes, and he's the ticket to get you my dear." I thought.
"Who is he?"
"I...I can't!" She yelled. "I can't tell you." This time her voice was almost unheard. "Please. Please Ciel."
'No, you can't tell a soul.'
"Okay. Sebastian take her home." The small boy said.
"Thank you." 'Sebastian' picked Lena up bridal style and jumped out the window.
"You'll be mine soon my dear. Very soon." I chuckled.

Three weeks after the little incident at Ciel's . The fear is consuming her. To protect anyone from 'him ' she locked herself away. What's happening to our dearly loved Lena? Why, is she going insane?
(Lena)
I've locked myself in. No one, not even my father can come in. I won't let them see me like this. I won't let him hurt them. One. Two. Three. Four. One. Two. Three. Four. In. Out. In. Out. In. Out. Hide. I'm going insane. The fears consuming me but I can't tell anyone. He'll hurt whoever knows. Sebastian is weak compared to him. He could hurt anyone I love. He killed mother. He hurt father. He hurt me. Someone help me I'm going insane. Help! Help! Help! Help! Help! Someone help me! I belong in a mental institution. I could blabber all day and no one would care. But I cannot. He will hurt many. William. Father. Sebastian. Ronald. Grell. Lizzie. Finny. Bard. Meyrin. Ciel. Oh God please not Ciel. Soma. Agni. All of them. None of them. Some of them?
"GOD MAKE IT STOP!!!!!!!" I yell.
'All the words in my head I don't want anymore
I need to run right out the door
To a world of safe living

He's out there waiting

A knock on the door was heard. "Lena you have a visitor." I pull a chair to the door and knock. "She's there now. You can tell her what you need to."
"Yes, thank you." Sebastian's voice said. "Lena, please tell me about 'him.' I'm afraid he's taken the young master."
"Why?" I asked.
"A letter arrived at the manor addressed to you."
"Do you have it?"
"Yes."
"Slide it under the door." I said. An envelope slid from under the door. Quickly I opened it without ripping the letter.
Dear Lena,
Long time no see. You've grown a lot. You've also made new friends over the four years I've been gone. One friend in particular has caught my eye. His navy locks are soft to the touch and his unique eyes are so captivating. But what's even better is his soul. Did you really think I wouldn't go near the ones closest to you if you locked yourself away? Don't worry your insanity will go away when your free, I just know it. If you don't come to the old town where we first met in three days I just might get hungry. And the only thing here to eat is your lover boy's soul.

"Sebastian." I said. "I need your help to get Ciel back." I put my hands on the door.
"Are you certain?"
I took a deep breath then said, "Yes. Yours and two others, we can find along the way." I said.
"Then what are we waiting for?"
I slowly stood up and opened the door. His eyes widened at the sight of me. I was filthy, slightly bloody, and I was skinnier from not eating. "Him to say go." Just then there was a howl in the distance. "Now his sick game has begun."
"Then let us go."

I sat down and leaned on an old tree and Sebastian sat next to me. "His name is Dominic Leon Wells." I say suddenly. "He's a demon. A wolf demon to be precise."
"Why are you telling me this now?" He asked.
"You need to know the story of how this all began." I said.
"Alright."
I nodded. "This happens before I was born."
(Before Lena)
A great reaper sat in the field of flowers. Waiting as silently as the gentle breeze that blew across the field. Waiting to see the outcome of what was about to happen. Then appeared a couple, laughing as they walked across the field. In the female's hands was an infant. All three were demons. The mother was on the 'to die' list. As soon as the couple felt his presence the male got ready to attack. "This does not concern you Dominic." Adrien Craven said. "Eliza Nicole Cornelia Wells, you have cheated death and that I can not allow."
"If you think you will steal my mates life Craven, I will kill you now." Dominic yelled.
"This is not my choice demon! Now hold your damn tongue, or I will cut it off!"
"Dominic, we knew this would happen one day." Eliza said. "You turned me into a demon when I was dying. The choice is mine."
"Our life together is just getting started. It can't end now! Emerald was just born!"
"And you will be a great father Demonic."
"Without you? Impossible."
"Nothing is impossible."
There was no battle that night. Adrian killed the female demon and the father wanted nothing to do with the child that reminded him of his beloved too much. His final words were a threat. "When you find your mate, and you have a child I will come and steal them both from you Craven. You will feel the pain I have." And with that he left.

"My father raised Emerald till she was 114 years old and on her 345 birthday she found her mate." I said. "He has told me he thinks of Emerald every day. And sixteen years ago he wanted love. He and my mother met at a party and fell in love almost instantly. Two years later I was born, a healthy baby girl with a secret. My father knew instantly what I was. And I found out when I was four years old. William sensed me and found me, he trained me too."
"What does this have to do with anything."
"A lot. Because of Dominic's warning my father told my mother to run with me. To not come back for he was danger. At first she refused but he won in the end. She fled with me the next evening."
"And then when she was seven, she met me!" A voice said. Sebastian and I look to see a tall girl with long black hair and shimmering emerald green eyes.
"Emerald!" I cheered. "Just the demon I was looking for."
"The one and only." She smiled.
"Where's Remington?"
"My, my this can't little Lena Craven can it?" A deep voice said. I looked up to see a tall man with brown hair and honey colored eyes standing on one of the tree branches. "Not possible."
"Remington get down from there!" Emerald yelled causing Remington to fall.
"Damn Em! Do you have to be that loud?"
"Yes I do."
"Who's he?" Remington asked.
"Remington, Emerald, this is Sebastian Michaelis. Sebastian this is Remington and Emerald Adams."
"It's nice to meet you Sebastian." Emerald said. Sebastian nodded in reply. She then looked at me. "Why are you with the demon? I thought you hated all of them but Remington and I."
"Let's just say your father took his master. And his master's a friend of mine." I said. "And we need your help."
"M-My father." Emerald said. "Then I'll help you no matter what." Her voice had turned slightly darker than normal.
"I appreciate it Em." I said.
"How'd you find out?" Remington asked.
I pulled the letter from the black satchel that I packed for the trip. "This was addressed to me, but it arrived at Ciel's manor." Emerald took the letter and read it. Then Remington read it.
"Lover boy?" Remington asked. "Do you love him?"
"I swear if you start messing with me Remington I will hurt you." I said.
"That's not a no!" He cheered.
"No, I don't love him! Even if I did he couldn't love me! I put him in danger and he'll be Sebastian's next meal!" I yell. "This'll is my fault he's in this situation, so I have to help him out of it!"
"Lena take it easy." Emerald said. "It's not you're fault."
"Yes it is! It's my fault because I got close to him!"
"See what you've started Remi."
"Lena I'm sorry. Please stop crying." he said wiping away the tears I didn't know were falling.
"I-I didn't know I was crying." I said. "But I have gone slightly insane."
"I haven't noticed a sigh of insanity." Remington said with a small smile.
"Because I'm out of the small room I locked myself in." I said. "Now shall we go my demon companions?"
"Let's." Emerald said looping her arm with mine.

"So Lena where is this village we're going to?" Remington asked as we ran through a forest.
"It burned down. So it's pretty much dirt now." I said. "Every single villager died that night I think."
"That's horrible. All those souls gone to waist." Remington said.
I glared at him. "Yeah, it was even worse for me." I said. "It was my first time reaping without another reaper with me. I was about to turn seven."
(Seven years ago)
The smell of burning flesh filled the air. Cinnamic records needed collecting and a small girl stood in the middle of town reading names from a list. Her spectacles slid off her nose slightly as she stamped the name of a deceased villager. The girl shook slightly as she looked at the sight. She moved to the next victim of the fire. She moved swiftly to each corpse noticing a few souls were gone. "What the...?"
"What are you doing in this burning village child?" His voice said.
"I-I'm finishing my work. Are you the demon taking some of these souls?"
"Yes. I didn't know you needed some of the souls."
"I needed all of them. I'll get it to trouble now."
"I'm sorry. I didn't know."
"William will be mad."
"Are you okay?" The demon walked out of the flames. He had ash blonde hair and sky blue eye and he looked about eighteen.
"W-who are you?"
"My name is Dominic Leon Wells. What about you, Little one."
"My name is my name." I said.
"Now, now that's not fair."
"I'm not supposed to tell strange demons my name."
"Am I strange?"
"Yes."
"Fair enough." He said. "But you are strange too. I've never seen a half reaper, half human before."
"I'll tell you my first name."
"Really."
"Lena."

"It was the stupidest thing I've ever done." I said. "Giving my name to him, especially since I look like my father so much." I yawned.
"Lena are you tired?" Emerald asked suddenly.
"Yeah." I mumbled.
Remington picked me up and put me on his back. "Then you rest and we'll keep going."
"Alright. Just keep going strait until you hit the river, then go east."
"Alright." With that I fell asleep.
(Sebastian)
"Is she asleep Remi?" Emerald asked.
"Yeah." He replied.
"Good." Next thing I know I'm pinned to a tree by my neck. "I'm going to tell you this now, 'Crow'. If you hurt Lena I will personally rip out your throat and feed it to the wolves. Am I clear?"
"Crystal." I said. She let me go and walked over to her mate.
"Is she crying?"
"Yeah." Remington said. "She's been mumbling names and 'I'm sorry'."
"She's feeling guilty." Emerald said.
"Sebastian." Remington asked.
"Yes?"
"What's the name of your master?"
"Ciel Phantomhive."
"So she does feel guilty about this then." He said. "She cares for him a lot, but she know it's only time before his soul is consumed by you, Sebastian."
"Let get going." Emerald said.
"Coming." Remington said. "Let's go find your Master."
"Let's."

Remington set Lena on the ground. "I have a bad feeling about this." Remington said.
"Me too." Emerald confirmed as we stared at the town in front of us. "She said the town burned down."
"I think we should wake her and get ready for his attack." We nodded.
Emerald crept to the sleeping girl and shook her shoulder. "Lena wake up."
Her eyes shot open to reveal the acid green pools of fear. She took one look at the town and said. "He rebuilt it." Her eyes widened and met mine. "Ciel's there." she pointed to a mansion. "I know because it wasn't here last time."
I patted her head for comfort. A mixture of emotions swirled in her eyes. "It'll be okay Lena." I said.
"Sebastian." She said. "He only wants me so once I get Ciel out of there, take off with him. Even if he commands you not to. Disobey him this once."
That's when I saw the look on her face. 'She truly wants me to disobey my master.'
"We'll all leave together." I don't know why but this girl made me want to feel emotions.
"To the manor we go." Lena said walking toward the dark manor.

Hey guys!!
Katiekitty9 here. There are three main reasons I haven't written in so long. 1:work. 2:laziness and 3: passing of two family members. And today I thought since it is a very special day for me today I would update for you. Today is my 16th birthday! This is my present to you guys. I'm sorry if it wasn't very good it was all from my imagination. Also from now on I will try to do my best update as much as I can.
