Chapter 21
Niklaus had told me that he was visiting my child. I tagged along obviously, we went to a house far from New Orleans. It was a large country white house, very lovely. I ran out of the car as soon as Niklaus stopped the car.
I began to cry when I saw my baby girl. I ran to her and grabbed her from Elijah's arms. I kissed her head and gave her back to Elijah.
"I can't feel her magic." I said.
"What?" Rebekah asked.
"Her magics gone!" I said.
"Oh dear, Leny it's a phase." Elijah said.
"Sorry, I'm just freaking out for no reason." I said, I pressed my ear on her vest, and felt her heartbeat. Ours beat at the same time. Her lip quivered and she began to try.
"Shh." I said, "mommy's here, mommy's here." I kissed her head. She calmed down and fell asleep on my shoulder.
"Look what I found nik!" Rebekah said running back from the house.
"Oh bloody hell." Niklaus said.
"What?" I asked, Rebekah pulled out a camera from her back. I smiled, "a family photo."
"Smile." Rebekah said, we posed and smiled, "I wish it could be like this forever." Her eyes watering. I smiled
"So it shall be." I said, "We can't keep the picture. It's to risky." My father threw it in the fire. I sighed.
