CHAPTER 12
"I'm so hungry I could eat a unicorn. And yes I said a unicorn because an unicorn sounds weird so chill"

Xavier's POV
She's back! She's really back. She's standing right in front of me, and I run towards her to give her a hug.
"Wait!" I skid to a halt, confused as to where she's going with this. She sticks her arm back into the bushes and out comes...Jacob. I sent him away years ago, he was called. His mate and baby are fine...I think. I'm not really sure. "You guys remember Jacob right?" That's when I notice they're holding hands.
A growl explodes from my throat as I lunge at Jacob. Mallory quickly steps in front of him and I end up tackling and beating her up, thinking she was Jacob.
Great, this is the second time I've hurt her. This will not end well for me. Jacob pulls Mallory out from under me and some of the pack members attempt to restrain me.
"Mal!" I hear a voice shout from behind me and before I know it Cole is in Mallory's arms. She's rocking him back and forth, she'll be great with my pups.
But will we even have pups? I mean, she kinda hates me right now. Jacob picks Mallory off the ground, and I growl lowly. The pack members continue restraining me as my wolf is screaming at me to go and rip her out of his unworthy hands.
-----Mallory's POV-----
I feel Jacob pick me up and Xavier's body tenses. Suddenly I remember what I needed to do.
"May!" I yell out and I feel Jacob tense. The pack begins looking around for May as a path forms. Suddenly I see a beautiful woman limp up so she is about 5 feet in front of Xavier, 10 feet away from us. I'm still holding Cole as I am dropped from Jacobs arms. I let out a short scream realizing he hasn't seen his mate in years. He runs up to her and she buries her head in his chest. How bad I want that, I have no words.
Glancing at Xavier I know he's the only one who can give me that, but I don't want it from him, especially since he's beaten me up twice.
Now that I'm no longer focused on reuniting Jacob and May, I turn to Cole who is nestled in my harms. Luckily the fall did not harm him. I brush hair out of his face before everything goes dark.
"Mallory!"

I'VE MISSED YOU GUYS!!!! I'm so sorry but school has been so busy lately. I know that's the excuse I give everytime but it's the truth!
