Mallory's POV:
"Xavier put me down!" I yell, pounding my fists against his back.
"Nah."
"Please?"
"No."
"Pleeeease?"
"No."
"Ugh." I give up and stop hitting his back. Eventually he will put me down, right?
------- 1 hour later-------
He still hasn't put me down. I've been dangling here for an hour. I started protesting again about five minutes ago but he still hasn't put me down. I can hear what sounds like sizzling but I can't see anything.
"Xavier."
"Yes."
"What are you doing?"
"No."
"Are you cooking?" I get no answer and sigh. "Will you please let me down? I'm really light headed." I hear him sigh loudly before he walks backwards towards the couches. "You really don't want me to see do you?"
"Not yet Princess." He says while setting me down. "Your face is red"
"WONDER WHY!" I yell back, My wolf restraining me from punching him.
"I'll be back. Stay." He says and walks back towards the kitchen. I pout and slump back into the couch.
A few moments later Xavier struts in with a plate in hand and I laugh at him. "Watcha got?"
"Food." He shoves it towards me and I gratefully grab it. Xavier made me come scrambled eggs with toast and strawberry jam. "The jam is homemade." He says and I stuff it in my mouth. I drop my fork and it lands on the plate with a clink. (I couldn't think of a better word XD )
"Uhh, Mallory, you okay?" I decide to scare him a bit so I wait a minute to respond. His eyes get wide and he immediately apologizes. "I'm so sorry, I thought you would like it. Are you allergic to strawberries or something?"
I finally give up my act and giggle. "No Xavier, this is delicious!"
"Are you sure? If you don't like it I can get you something else?"
"No I promise it's magical. Now go make me more toast." I say, pouting at my lack of toast.
"You are the toast already?" He laughs, and I shove my hand out and point to the kitchen.
"I want EXTRA jam! Go child go!" I yell and he runs into the kitchen laughing. "HURRY UP!"I continue stuffing my face with the eggs and by the time Xavier returns...they're gone.
"Girl can eat!"
"Shut up." I snatch the toast from his hand and gobble it up. "Where's Cole?"
"Upstairs." He says smiling and I jump up excitedly, running off towards the stairs.Once I arrive upstairs I quickly determine which room Cole is in. Obviously the one with the word Cole on it in blue letters.
"Cole!" I say, swinging the door open. I run over to him and hug him tightly.
"Mal! Guess what? Xavier promised me he would take me to the next training session so i can watch and start learning! It's tomorrow!" I tense up but relax when he adds the 'watch' part.
"Awesome! It's getting late buddy you better get some sleep." I say, carrying him to his bed.
"Okay, but you won't leave again right?"
"No baby, I'll still be here when you wake up."
"Promise?"
"Promise."
"Okay, night Mal. I love you" He says and I place a kiss on his forehead.
"I love you too."
I then walk out of the room and close the door before making my way to my room. I quickly change into pajamas and get into bed, pulling the covers up to my chin.
A few moments later my door opens so i snap my eyes shut, pretending to be asleep. Footsteps softly pad across the floor and I feel someone kiss my head.
"Night Mallory." It's Xavier! Although I want to respond I keep up my act and he leaves. Soon I fall asleep, thinking of how amazing today was.

GUYS ITS NEW YEARS EVE SO HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! It's crazy that in about 6 hours it will be 2016.
