Angel with a shotgun
I know that now more than ever I'll need to keep star safe I feel like her knight in shining armor or her angel with a shotgun or even better her guardian I didn't want to admit it at first but everything that me and star had been through had made me start to like he more than just friends but we live together so it would be weird if we started dating
"Star come on we gotta get to school" I yelled up to her room not wanting to face her you can call that cowardly but I call it just not wanting to face the music I walked downstairs to see my mom cooking pancakes and sausage
"Hey mom" I said to her she turned around
"Oh hey Marco" she said sliding me a plate and piling it with food making star's plate as well before sitting down in front of me giving me a big smile
"So.." She said I chewed me food slowly looking at her with confusion
"So.." I replied shrugging and looking down at my plate
"So I saw you and star in the yard last night you were fighting those monsters and she was watching with awe all over her face and then something more happened" she said still smiling
"Umm I don't know what you mean" I said softly looking away and grabbing the syrup pouring it all over my pancakes
"Oh you know you two almost kissed" she poked at me I blushed hard smaking her hand down
"Mom!" I yelled hearing the shower turn off
"It's ok I thought it was kind of charming but you and star can't have a relationship you two are not only kids but you also live in the same house with her it would be weird" she commented
"Thanks mom that's great now can we please change the subject" I whispered as star walked in
"Hey star" I said she gave me a soft smile before eating a piece of sausage off her plate I sighed my mom winking at me before heading upstairs
"Look star I want you to know that I'm sorry" she looked at me before tilting her head to one side "I shouldn't have tried to kiss you" I said softly she swallowed her sausage before replying
"Marco I'm sorry to I leaned in" she replied I laughed softly
"Friends?" I asked her she nodded
"Friends"she replied before pulling me into a kiss I sighed not wanting to pull away her lips were so soft and even though I hated to admit it this was my first kiss when she pulled away she smiled
"Marco I think I remember everything!" She yelled
"Really that's great!" I replied before she leaned back in he chair and fainted I caught her before she hit the ground but she just closed her eyes
"Star! Star! Wake up!" I yelled I heard my parents footsteps running down the stairs
"We have to take her back to the hospital fast!" I yelled
I'm sorry if this is a short chapter and I'm sorry I didn't update in forever I just had some problems with my other account and people being fucking idiots the book says completed so stop asking me when the next chapter is anyway hope you guys like this chapter
