Chapter 24
*Niall's POV*
It's about a week after Louis and Harry abandoned me at Cameron's house and I'm getting ready to go out for coffee with Nathan. When I get down stairs Louis and Harry are sitting playing with Daisy and Phoebe.
"Guys, I'm leaving now." I say.
Louis shrieks.
"Right, okay, this is a big day, don't mess this up, no pressure though, but seriously." Louis rambles.
"Lou, I don't think you're helping." Harry says with a laugh, putting his hand on his shoulder.
"Oh shush, Nialler loves my advice." Louis brags and Harry rolls his eyes, still smiling.
"It's true, I do, but I better get going. As much as I'd love to stay here and listen to you two fight like an old married couple." I say sarcastically.
"Shut up." Louis groans and wraps his arms around Harry.
"Bye Nialler." Harry says with a wave.
"Good luck!!!" Louis squeals.
"Thanks, bye."
I've been walking for about 20 minutes when I hear an all to familiar laugh. Liam.
I turn around and see him and Zayn walking behind me. I feel a pang in my chest.
"Oh, Niall." Zayn says and Liam stops laughing.
"Um, hi." I say.
"What brings you here??" Liam asks.
"I've got a date." I say confidently.
"Oh." Liam says and his smile falls. "Well that's... Erm... Good? I hope your doing well but we better get going." He says and walks past me, him and Zayn holding hands... I thought he didn't want to come out... Suddenly everything makes sense. Zayn didn't know about us, I guess we never told him... So if we came out, then Zayn would find out and know Liam was cheating.
I suddenly have a great revenge plan.
I continue walking for the next five minutes until I eventually find the bakery, nowhere near where Louis said it was.
I sigh and step in, already 5 minutes late thanks to Louis and his amazing directions. Note the sarcasm.
I see Nathan at a table in the corner, he smiles at me and I smile back. I walk over and sit down.
"Hi, it's good to see you." Nathan says happily.
"You too, sorry I'm late, I trusted my friend to give me the right directions and that didn't go well." I say with a laugh.
"It's okay."
Soon a waitress comes over and we both order a coffee.

2 hours and 2 coffees later we say goodbye.
"I had a really nice time." Nathan says with a warm smile.
"Same."
He pulls me in for a hug and he holds me lightly. We both look into each other's eyes and I suddenly feel his lips on mine, soft and gentle, slightly chapped.
When he pulls away I smile at him.
"Thank you for today, I'll text you." I say and wave goodbye.

When I get in I go to my room but hear someone running. There's a knock on my door.
"Come in!"
Louis and Harry burst through.
"Oh my god, how was the date? did he pay? did you hug? did you kiss? are you going to see him again?" Louis rambles excitedly.
"Calm down." Harry laughs.
We all sit on my bed.
"Right so, the date was great, he did pay yes, we did hug and yeah I'm going to see him again." I say happily.
"That's great Niall." Harry says.
"Omg did you kiss?!" Louis shouts.
I turn red and he gasps.
"You did, didn't you."
"Maybe?" I try.
"Aww, Nialler well done!" He shouts and then winks.
"Over Liam then?" Harry asks.
"I think I am actually." I say proudly.
"That's good news." Harry replies.
I then go on and tell them about seeing Liam and Zayn on my way there, but we all laugh and joke about it, and it makes me feel good to know I can count on them to make me feel better.
*Louis' POV*
After we finished talking to Niall, me and Harry went back to our room. I'm glad Niall is over Liam, but I still think there are some feelings there.
Harry's phone rings and 'Mum ❤️' flashes up on the screen.
He takes a deep breath and answers it, he puts it on speaker.
"Hello?" He asks.
"Harry!" She exclaims.
"Mum?"
"How are you."
"I'm really good, thanks to Louis."
"I'm so sorry Harry, it was Robin, I miss you so much." She gushes.
"It's okay, I'm happy here, and I feel very welcome."
"That's really good darling. Is there any chance I could maybe visit, is love to meet Louis." She says kindly and I smile.
"Of course, how about tomorrow?"
"Sounds great, is Louis mum okay with that?"
"She should be, Louis?" Harry asks me.
"Oh, yeah, she'd love to meet you." I say.
"Fantastic!"
"Okay, I'll text you the address and I'll see you about 1:00pm tomorrow?"
"Okay."
"Right well I'll let you go now, see you tomorrow."
"See you then."
"Bye."
Harry hangs up and sighs.
"That could have gone worse." He says and hugs me.
"Yeah, I can't wait to meet her."
"Me too." He sighs.
"Love you." I say, for no reason at all.
"Love you too."
"Do you think Niall is fully over Liam?" I ask, curious.
"No, not at all, but I can tell he likes this Nathan guy." He replies and I hum in agreement. "But if Liam were to come back and apologise, he'd take him back in a heartbeat."
"I suppose. Do you think Zayn and Liam will last?"
"Yeah I do, I don't know why, just a feeling."
"Omg let's crash their wedding!" I say excitedly.
"Yes!! Ziam wedding crashers!!!"
"Ziam?" I ask with a laugh.
"Yeah, like Niall and Liam are Niam, Niall and Nathan are Nithan and me and you are Larry." He explains and we both laugh.
"Oh my god... Larry?!" I ask in amusement.
"Niall made it up, he's a major Larry shipper."
"I ship it." I say.
"Hey, me too!"
We both laugh.
I'm so glad I met Harry.
