Fool
Tears fall from your face.
"Y/N. Stop it. He isn't worth wasting your mascara on!" your friend Zoe soothed you.
"No! He was my life, my whole, m-my everything," you stutter, sobbing even more.
"You're stronger than this! Show him your strength!" she said, rubbing your back.
"I'm nothing without him," you whimper.
She sighs and starts to get up, fixing her outfit.

"I have a meeting right now, but I'll be over straight afterwards. Don't do anything drastic," she said smiling.
You shrug, closing the door after her.
Dan had just broken up with you.
~flashback~
"Y/N," he said nervously.
"Yeah?" you ask happily, looking through a magazine. Dan had randomly called you while he was in Brighton for work.
"This, just," he sighed. "isn't working out."
Your heart stops.
"What?" you ask, nervously laughing. You laugh, hoping he was joking.
"YouTube has becoming something I've never imagined it to be. Plus, I'm going on tour soon. I don't this I can handle all three. I'm sorry."
"Yes you can!" you spit out, tears rolling down your cheeks.
"I really wish I could," he said.
You sniffle, making him realize you were crying.
"Oh, please don't cry," he pleaded, his voice cracking.
"How can you expect me not to cry when I've lost something I've loved for so long!" you ask angrily.
Silence was on the other line.
You sigh. "Go and finish what you've started. Enjoy the tour, and your life."
You hang up on him, not wanting to hear his excuses. He's right. YouTube is "more important" than a heart slowly breaking.
You throw your phone across the room, it hitting a wall and crashing to the ground. Nothing mattered anymore. Your world was closing in on you.
~end of flashback~
You crawl up into bed, turning on Netflix. All of a sudden, you hear a notification bell go off.
"What," you mumble to yourself, looking in the direction where the sound came from.
Your phone wasn't broken, but it did have a crack on the screen. You still had Dan's twitter notifications on.
He tweeted:

He usually does live shows (which you always watch) every other week.
You roll your eyes and turn off his notifications on everything. You even deleted his number.
Everything was confusing. You were depressed, upset, and mad - all at the same time. You never know how much you love or need something until it's gone.
