Jealous
"It was nice meeting you, Y/N!" a guy named Jake yelled over the club music.
"Same here!" you reply, dancing along with him. Tonight was your birthday, and you decided to celebrate it by going to a club. It was crowded, people shoving people, the occasional drunk spilling their martini on you, but fun nonetheless.
"Let's go somewhere more private!" he yells, pulling your arm towards the exit. You nod and walk with him. The fresh, cool air cools you down since you've been dancing in such a crowded place.
"You look great tonight," he complimented you.
"Thank you," you reply out of breath. Cars passed, making the gravel road crackle. The flickering lights of London amazed you, making the buildings shimmer surrounding you.
"Did you come with someone?" he asked, placing his right arm on the wall you were leaning against. The way we said that didn't sit with you right.
"Yes, actually," you said, sight-stepping away from his towering arm. He gave you a seductive look.
"Who?" he questions you placing his left arm on the other side of you. Now you were trapped.
"My boyfriend," you say to him, emphasizing the word boyfriend. He chuckles under his breath. He slowly leans in closer to you, making you even more uncomfortable than before.
"Where is he?" he asked, his breath smelling of alcohol.
"Y/N?" a familiar voice asks. You turn your head. Dan was standing right there, witnessing the whole thing. Jake quickly runs away. Ooooh shit.
"What where you doing?" he asks you, anger in his voice.
"I swear, we weren't doing anything," you explain to him. He wasn't buying it.
"Wasn't doing anything?" he shouts, raising his voice. "How was that not doing anything?"
You tell him everything. The trap, the look, the questions. He was still mad.
"Dan, I would never do that," you tell him, grabbing his hand. He yanks it away from you.
"Sure you wouldn't," he said walking away.
"Dan!" you exclaimed catching up to him. He didn't respond.
"Dan! Please, I swear I didn't do anything!" you plead, grabbing his arm. He turns around and faces you.
"I'm sorry," he apologized. You smile.
"It's okay."
"I just don't anyone to steal you away from me. I love you more than anything, and I can't imagine you kissing someone other than me tonight," he explained. You kiss him on his left cheek, letting him wrap his arms around your waist. Maybe you should get him jealous more often.
