First Date & Getting Kicked Out

"Where are we going?" Olivia asked for the fifth time, her hands fidgeted on her lap.

Elliot rolled his eyes. "Stop asking."

She pouted and kept her mouth shut, ideas of restaurants filling her mind.

"We're here." He interrupted her thoughts.

Her eyes glanced over and she immediately gawked at the place not out of astonishment but confusion. They were at McDonald's.

"What?" She questioned still staring at the unexpected destination.

"Come on, your highness." He smiled at her reaction which was expected. He got out of the car and opened the door for her.

She continued to stare.

He sighed and held her hand.

"Is this a joke?" She finally got out of the car but remained standing there.

"No. Let's go in." He began walking towards white building.

She wasn't upset because McDonald's was her first date but because she took time to get ready to go to McDonald's. She began walking and glared at her best friend who was dressed in a classic tuxedo. It looked like they were ready to walk down the red carpet.

"You are a jerk." She frowned as she entered through the door he was holding for her.

"How? You love McDonald's." He walked behind her.

"I do but I do not love the fact that I got ready for nothing." She spat in annoyance.

"Ouch." He put a hand over his heart dramatically. "This date is nothing to you?"

She rolled her eyes and realized that people were staring at them. "Why did we dress up anyway?" She asked through clenched teeth.

"Where would the fun be if we didn't dress up? It would just be going to McDonald's like any other day if we didn't dress up." He answered her as he walked towards the line to order.

Olivia was still annoyed as she followed after him, trying her best to ignore the stares. "Was this apart of James and Jade's plan?"

He nodded, his attention on the menu. "I would get you the usual but since you're pregnant I feel like that wouldn't be your first choice."

She remained quiet, thinking of curse words directed towards the person beside her.

Elliot looked down at her. "Look Liv, loosen up.   We're here to have an amazing first date." He pinched her cheeks. "So turn that frown upside down. You know how much I love it when you smile."

Her hands swatted him away and she let out a sigh. "Fine." She looked at he menu and tapped her chin. She really was hungry and was starting to feel thankful for the fact that they came here.

They continued to move up the line until they were at the cashier, she gave them a questioning look but brushed it off quickly as she replaced it with a grin. "Hi, how may I help you?"

"Can I have a bacon Mcdouble meal please and thank you?" Elliot told her his order as he gestured for Olivia to go next.

"Can I have a bacon and cheese quarter pounder, chicken nuggets, large fries and hash browns?" She smiled brightly, excited to eat.

The cashier was taken back by the large order as she punched it into the machine in front of her.

"I'm pregnant." Olivia simply explained to her once she saw her reaction.

She laughed lightly and nodded. "I understand. Would you like anything else?"

"Water!" She answered.

The lady smiled. "That would be twenty five  dollars please." She looked between Elliot and Olivia.

She quickly took out a twenty dollar bill and a five dollar bill, handing it to the cashier.

"I'll pay for the desserts." Elliot told her.

Olivia nodded, loving to hear the word desserts. "Sounds good."

They sat down across from one another and as soon as their butt touched their seats Olivia reached for the fries and stuffed them in her mouth.

Elliot chuckled at her excitement.

"We could have gone to Robin's Diner." Olivia stated once she finished swallowing.

"The instructions were to take you to McDonald's in fancy attire."

Olivia nodded. "What's new?"

"I started reading that book Riley gave me and it's pretty interesting." He took a sip of his drink.

"You're already prepared for the day you become an actual father." She smiled, sarcasm laced in her tone.

"Exciting." He replied.

They continued to eat in silence until Elliot looked up at her.

Olivia glanced up and caught him staring at her. "Why are you staring at me?" She raised an eyebrow.

"I forgot to tell you this the first time I saw you tonight." He smiled at her while his eyes were fixated on her face. "You look beautiful."

Suddenly Olivia felt her cheeks burn red, Elliot was always sweet to her and complimented her but it was different tonight. It made her stomach do backflips.

"You should wear that dress more often." He stated.

She cocked an eyebrow. "I would if I had fancy events to go to but I don't."

He scoffed as he took a bite from his burger. "Your family always has fancy events to go to but you just never go." He chewed then swallowed his food. "Then you force Riley or I to go for you."

She shrugged. "You know that I'm not into stuff like that."

"It wouldn't hurt to go. They do always have good food."

Olivia continued to eat. "We'll see."

Finally the food was gone. Olivia had a satisfied grin on her face as she rubbed her stomach gently. "I can't believe we're sitting at McDonald's quarter past midnight in fancy attire."

Another instruction that was given to Elliot was to stay there as late as possible until they got kicked out to add to the effect of rebellion and romance.

Elliot nodded. He was full as well since they went back and ordered desserts.

"This is a serious question so if you had to adopt a baby koala or a baby fox which one would you choose?" Olivia questioned with a small smile on her face. She pulled her hair into a ponytail while she adjusted her position where her legs were resting on the seat beside her and her back was up against the wall.

Elliot had also made himself more comfortable by loosening his tie and taking of his blazer.

"What a cruel question. How could I ever choose?" He sighed and thought about it. "I need to know how they look like first." He typed onto his phone and looked at a couple of pictures. "Hands down I would adopt the baby fox."

She nodded at his answer.

"What is the size of your hard disc?"

Her eyebrow cocked at the odd question, she then suddenly bursted into laughter. Her hand flew over her mouth as her laughs became louder and harder to control.

Elliot then joined her laughing fit. They continued to laugh for about 3 minutes.

"Hey!" A booming voice interrupted their laughing. "We're closed. Why are you still in here?"

They both tried to hold in their giggles.

"I'm sorry sir. We'll be on our way." Olivia got up.

Elliot remained seated. "We're staying."

Olivia's eyes grew large as she gawked at her best friend.

The man was taken back and walked closer to them. "You need to leave or I have no choice but to kick you out."

He shrugged, remembering the instructions that James and Jade had given him. It was a stupid idea and he didn't have to follow it but her reaction was too funny.

"Okay." Elliot crossed his arms over his chest with a smug smirk on his face.

Olivia continued to stare at Elliot with annoyance and shock. She yanked onto his shirt. "Let's go."

"You better listen to your little girlfriend here and leave." The man crossed his arms over his chest, making him look bigger than he just was.

He remained seated. "I guess you just have to kick us out."

The man cocked an eyebrow at his eagerness to be kicked out and shrugged as he gripped Elliot and pulled him up. "I'm sorry that you have such stupid boyfriend." He turned to Olivia as he brought him towards the exit.

Olivia was carrying Elliot's blazer as she followed after the large man who was dragging her stubborn best friend out the door. "I am sorry as well."

Finally they made it outside. The large man rolled his eyes as he let got of Elliot and walked back inside.

Elliot adjusted his button up shirt and made his way towards the car.

"What was that?" Olivia slapped the back of his head.

He winced as he nursed the spot she slapped. "That hurt, Olivia." He pouted, opening the passenger door for her.

She rolled her eyes and got inside.

Elliot closed the door and got into the car as well. "Let me explain, that was apart of the plan James and Jade made for me."

"That's ridiculous." She frowned.

He started the car and smiled as he looked over at her. "So what would you rate our first date?"

She buckled herself in. "I would have rated it a 9/10 but after that stupid move its a 2/10."

Elliot scoffed and pushed onto the gas, pulling out of the parking lot.

"I got to give you props for staying tough for that whole time though, he could have easily snapped you into two pieces."
