5. Rainy Travels
"So I am currently still in my pjs and it's like 10:00 am. We are currently travelling to our next location in the pouring rain. It hasn't stopped raining since 7:45 am. Anyway update, Reed and I are about to have a marathon of The Walking Dead."
"yess." He shouted with a husky, deep voice.
"I haven't seen any episodes so we're starting from season 1 episode 1. See you guys soon." Reed waked down the centre of the bus as I threw my phone down on the couch next to me.
"Let's do this." He shouted enthusiastically, shoving a handful of popcorn into his mouth.
"Don't eat all the popcorn you'll get fat." I giggled as Reed looked down at his stomach.
"I won't get fat. It's not that much popcorn... but I will be sick." I rolled my eyes as Reed explained.
"Just click play." I hit his arm excitedly. He just chuckled and pressed play with the remote.

"So we've just arrived in our hotel at Boston. It's been a long day of travelling but we got through it with the Walking Dead. Which by the way has become my new obsession." I squealed. "If you haven't seen it, you need to it's flippin' amazing."
"Flippin' amazing." Reed mocked me.
"Shut up." I whined. "This guy would not stop eating popcorn while we were watching the Walking Dead. I..."
"Am I known as that guy now?"
"No you're still a 'flop' or 'thot'."
"I'm not a thot." He pouted.
"Of course you're not." I replied with a sarcastic tone. I switched the camera off and collapsed onto the couch in our hotel room.
"Soph, I just need to go and run a few things over with my manager." Shawn rushed towards the door.
"Okay. I'll make sure the thot doesn't do anything." I replied before Shawn left.
"Not a thot." He shouted from the kitchen. Which was connected to the living room [there was no wall separating the living room and kitchen. They are both one room.]
I plugged in my earphones and played Fall Out Boy's new album American Beauty/American Psycho.
"Bored of me already?" I opened my eyes to see Reed towering over me. I sat up and he flopped down next to me on the couch.
"Hey, we should do a twitcam. Just to surprise the fans."
"Sure. I'll just eat my sandwich quickly." He took a bite of his peanut butter jelly sandwich and I stared at him. "What? It was a long journey." He defended himself as I shook my head, opening up Shawn's laptop.
"You log into your twitter, I did a twitcam a week ago." I passed the laptop to him and he logged in, setting up the twitcam.
"Hey guys. So this is a surprise twitcam both for you and me."
"I suggested it." I popped my head around so I was visible on the screen. "I thought a twitcam would be a nice surprise for you guys. Anyway write a message there..." I pointed to the messages on the right hand side of the screen. "...or send me a question on twitter and we'll answer them."
"There's one." Reed pointed to a question. "What is it like touring with Shawn and Sophie?"
"Touring with Shawn is the bomb, touring with Sophie nah." He replied.
"Hey. That's not very nice." I pushed his shoulder and heard him chuckle.
Suddenly he poked my side just below my ribs, causing me to squeal and jump an inch away from him.
"Nah. Touring with both Shawn and Sophie is the bomb."
"Aww. That's so sweet of you." I wrapped my arm around his shoulder.
"What have you done today?" Reed read from the messages.
"Bus. Bus. Bus and Bus." Reed replied.
"Actually we had a Walking Dead marathon on the bus. But all we've done is be on the bus in the pouring rain." I answered still having my arm around Reed's shoulder to annoy him.
"Guess what? It's still raining."
"The point of the 'guess what?' is getting them to guess before you answer correctly." I explained to him, seeing him pull a face. I grabbed his cheeks like you would grab a baby's chubby cheeks. (gently of course!) "Don't pull a face Weed." I released his cheeks and he poked my side again. "Stop doing that."
"Ha ha no. You annoy me." He turned back to the camera and chuckled.
"That's not very nice." I pouted as he pulled a face at me.
"Would you rather be a unicorn or a leprechaun?" Reed read off the screen. "Unicorn." He quickly replied.
"You'd be fabulous." I teased him. "I'd probably be a leprechaun."
"You get to live in Ireland then."
"Well, I actually have an old friend in Ireland. She moved there."
"Leprechaun. Leprechaun friend. You can be my leprechaun friend." Reed spoke over me with an attempt of an Irish accent.
"No. no. Just stop." I wrapped my arm around the back of his neck and pulled his head closer to me (so his head was on my shoulder) to shut him up. He took me by surprise and wrapped his arms around my waist.
"Are you guys dating because you're cute?" I read off the screen, then staring down at Reed.
"Yes." He blurted out, staring up at me. I pulled a face at him while staring down at him.
A lot of messages of the same content popped up on the messages:
"They're going to kiss."
"Kiss. Kiss. Kiss."
"If they kiss, I will scream."
"#Seedkiss."
"#Seedkiss is about to happen."
"Guys we're not dating. We're just really close friends." I released him but he still had his arms wrapped around me. I saw him smirk from the corner of my eye. "Stop smirking thot." I rolled my eyes at him.
"I think you're lying Sophie, I think they are dating. They just don't want to admit it." I read off the screen. "okay. Reed I need to talk to you." I unwrapped his arms and grabbed his hand pulling him up. I dragged him into a bedroom and closed the door behind us.
"What?" He asked.
"What is wrong with you?" I whispered in case our voices picked up on the mic.
"I'm just messing around."
"By telling them we're dating?" I pulled a face at him. "Reed you've started a rumor which could upset some people. You know what it's like with fans."
"I was only joking. I don't know how to react to questions about girls." He stared at the ground. "I've never been successful with girls."
"It's okay." I embraced him into a hug. "Just tell the truth now. I mean you don't even like me that way." I laughed, opening the door.
"Yeah, I don't." He replied quietly, staring at the ground with a small smile. We sat in front of the camera again.
"Hey guys we're back." I smiled and waved at the camera.
"We're not dating. But we are really close friends, I was just joking about us."
"Plus, I've only known this flop for 3 days." I smiled.
"She has so many nicknames for me. 'Flop' seems to be the most used." Reed told the camera while I laughed.
20 minutes later...
"I need Shawn." I looked around and towards the door. He'd been sorting something out with his manager for a long time.
"Sorting things with managers can take a lot of time Soph. Be patient."
"Ooh. Say all the numbers of pi you know, but not yet let me get up the picture so they can all see you're not saying any random number." I placed my phone with the picture in front of the camera and turned the laptop away from him so he couldn't see it. "okay go."
"3.141592653589793236264..." (That will go on for another hundred numbers or so.)
"He's a freaking genius." I took my phone away and turned the laptop towards both of us again as soon as he had finished.
"I can say 500 off the top of my head." He smiled.
"I've come to the conclusion you're an alien." I told him.
"So first I'm a 'flop' then I'm 'that guy' and 'thot' now I'm an 'alien'. What am I next?" Reed joked, chuckling after.
"You're always going to be a flop." I wrapped my arm around his shoulder again. The hotel door opened and Shawn walked in.
"Shawn." I jumped up and ran over to him.
"You've never been this happy to see me before." He jumped back and laughed.
"You left me with the flop. Of course I am."
"That's not very nice." Reed whined.
"I never said it was a bad thing..." I spoke quietly. "Anyway, I have an amazing idea for the twitcam. But I need you for it Shawn."
"Okay." He shrugged and I squealed.
"Grab your guitar." We walked back over to the camera. Reed stood behind the couch so Shawn could sit down.
"I have an amazing idea. Shawn and I will do a duet of his original song Stitches." I smiled.
"I'm in." He started playing the strings of the guitar and then sung.
"I thought that I've been hurt before
But no ones ever left me quite this sore
Your words cut deeper than a knife..."
"You watch me bleed until I can't breath
I'm shaking
Falling onto my knees
And now that I'm without your kisses
I'll be needing stitches
Tripping over myself
I'm aching
Begging you to come help
And now that I'm without your kisses
I'll be needing stitches." I joined in with the chorus and sung the second verse alone. Shawn and I sung the rest of the song together.
