broken hearted
"I never loved you," Caleb said.
"I loved the idea of you," he added.
"I loved the idea of us" he said.
"but, I love maddie, so, uh, bye" Caleb said.
I shook my head and left.
the only other place I could think of to go was the yogurt shop, it was 10 witch meant they where most likely open.
I walked down the street and the yogurt shop said open.
I walked and in the recognized the worked. his name was Cameron, he went to school with me.
he smiled. "wassup Clark" he said, Clark was my last name.
"wassup Evans," I said, that was his last name.
"why you look like your upset" he said.
I sighed.
"Caleb and I broke up" I said.
"ohh, that's to bad, you okay?" He said.
I didn't answer.
"it hurts, I know." Cameron said.
"yeah, that's not even the worst part" I sighed.
"what?" Cameron Said.
"nothing, I'm fine" I lied.
"let's talk," he said.
I looked up at him.
we both walked over to a table and sat down.
"what else is going on?" He asked.
"well, my mom told me stuff about my dad and that he never loved me and that he has another daughter, who's my age. I guess," I paused.
"I don't know, the stuff about my dad doesn't hurt that much, it's just the fact that my mom said rude things about my brother," I continued.
"and you don't talk about my brother. he's my best friend," I paused again looking up.
"and I miss him" I continued.
"how old your brother?" Cameron asked.
"my brother Colin, is the one of closer with, he's 13. but my older brother is 16, Cassie's close with him" I said.
"don't worry about what your mom says, she was probably just mad. like in the moment of anger, people say things that just aren't true, you get what I mean?" Cameron said.
"yeah, I know exactly what you mean" I replied.
"and don't worry about Caleb, you guys weren't gonna last that long anyways. your complete opposites" he laughed.
"yeah, I guess your right. Thanks," I smiled.
"anytime," Cameron smiled.
"can I ask you something?" I said.
"anything" Cameron said.
"if someone you use to love, comes back into your life, is that a sign of something?" I asked.
"well, of course. ever heard the saying, if you love someone, let them go, and if they come back to you there yours?" Cameron said.
"and clearly, they were meant cross your path again. so don't be afraid to tell that person how you feel, and if you're ever honored enough to come across an ex lover, don't screw up. don't make the person feel bad about what happened, chances are it wasn't there fault. and chances are, God brought them back to you, to bless you with them. because that person has taught you a lesson, and now there here to bless you. don't take that person for granted" Cameron said.
I sat there in ah.
"it was nice talking to you, where closing, but if you wanna hang out I'll give you the key" Cameron said.
"okay, I'll stay for awhile" I said.
Cameron tossed me the key and left.
I sat there for a minute.
then my phone buzzed.
I had a text.
the text read; hi Kylee, this is Ashely, Edwin's mom. when Edwin got home he was very upset. I don't know why, but I found something I think you should see. your welcome to come to my house, you know the address. it's our old house. & I hope all is well with your mom :)
my heart sank.
I ran back to my house, it was raining and I was still in tears. I got to my house and got on my bike. I road my bike as fast as I could to Edwin's old house. I knew exactly wear it was, I use to spend weeks over there.
I pulled up to his house and got off my bike. I walked to the door and knocked.
I waited for awhile.
but eventually, Ashely came to the door in sobs.
"Ashley!" I said and engulfed her into a hug.
"is everything okay? where's Edwin? is he okay?" I said.
Ashely didn't say anything.
she just looked at me.
she looked at me with betrayal & heart break in her eyes. and I didn't even know what happened.
