9- The Lecture.

James's POV:
We got home. Charlie started running up to her room.
"Charlie! Charlie, get back here! Charlie," I yelled, but she didn't listen. "What am I suppose to do with her? She doesn't listen to me, she doesn't even believe I'm her father!"
"Let her go, she'll just have to get used to her knew life," Jesse says.
"Your father would, but it's not going to be that easy," Sebastain cuts in.
"God, she's exactly like Tori. She looks exactly like her, acts exactly like her. I don't know how much more I can take of this, I mean, her not knowing it's actually me," James adds.
"Don't worry about her, she'll come around at one point," Sebastian says simpatheticly. "For now though, we need to make her feel as at home as possible. Make sure you talk to her, interact with her, ask her questions about stuff she likes. Stuff like that."
"Sebastian is right. Even if she believes us soon, we have to make her feel at home none the less. That means giving a real effort," Jim says, eyeing Jesse.
"Why are you looking at me! Your the one that over does stuff," Jesse protests.
"Well you get the idea. We will set some ground rules tomorrow and give her a tour of the house," Jim finalizes.
I walk away after our conversation. I saw her texting Asher Black. I need to have a talk with that boy.

After calling Asher, and talking to him in great detail, I head over to Charlie's room, hoping I can discuss some stuff with her.
I get to her room and knock. No answer. I do it again, but yet again, no answer. I open her door quietly to see her sleeping and her room, unpacked. I go over to her bed, tuck her in, and give her a kiss in the forehead before I go to sleep myself.
My little girl...when will I ever, truly, get you back? When will everything and everyone stop crushing my heart?
