A few hours later I left home to grab the car seat and his diaper bag before going back to get Rose. I took the nurse with me so everything could be set up before baby Bryson got there and the whole ride was awkward.
"I'm a really big fan. I can't believe I'm doing this." She smiled at me
"Thank you." I sorta smiled back
"Am I making this awkward? I'm sorry, I just wanted to meet you for sometime now. Since Two Hearts hit SoundCloud actually."
"Two Hearts. That was a while ago. You've been supporting me that long?"
"Yeah. I have a shirt with the album on it and I bought the album Cd and the iTunes stream."
I looked over at her with a genuine smile for once.
"Thanks." I laughed
"No problem. Thank you actually for making the music. Working on anything new?"
"No not yet. Rose and the baby are my soul priority right now and will be until they both get better."
"Oh come on. They'll be fine, don't let that stop you. You have millions of fans counting of you."
I side eyed her before getting out the car and walking into the house.
"The fuck are you talking about." I mumbled to myself as I jogged up the stairs
I grabbed the bag and his car seat before locking the door to our room.
"The guess room is down here. 3 doors down and the bathroom is at the end of the hall. Help yourself to the kitchen." I instructed for leaving back out the house
I knew she had to set up in Bryson's room but I forgot to mention where it was. I didn't have her number so she'd have to wait.

I pulled up to the hospital and called Rose. She was rolled out in a matter of seconds, I got out and helped her in then strapped the baby in doubling checking him before thanking the doctors and driving off.
"You want ice cream?" I asked Rose knowing she did
She smiled over at me, she's been doing that a lot lately. I shook my head with a small laugh.
"Big ole baby."
We got ice cream and I sat in the back with Bryson while Rose ate hers and listened to the radio. She insisted on sitting in the chic-fil-a parking lot to eat because she might have wanted another cone.
"Ready now?" I asked getting into the drivers seat
"Yep."

We walked into the house and the smell of food filled our noses.
"Did Kay cook?" Rose whispered to me
"Whose Kay?"
Rose nudged me and nodded to the nurse coming down the stairs. I twisted my face slightly trying to figure out why she was up there.
"Everything is set up, in your room."
