I stared holes in them as they looked from the baby to me to Rose.
"I just saw your all over Instagram. I had to come see her." Tory spoke first
I nodded then looked at Amir.
"Same." He cleared his throat
"Who's here?" Rose mumbled into my chest
"Amir."
She gripped my hand tighter.
"And Tory."
"Tory?"
I nodded and helped her turn around to them. She seemed excited to hear his name, she had me fucked up but I'm not gone sweat her.
"Hi."
"Hey Ro." Tory waved with a smile
"You came?"
"Yeah. Just because you cut me off doesn't mean I don't come support you. Plus I understand why you did it."
"You cut him off?" I asked almost shocked
"Yeah. She said that she didn't want you to think something was popping between us so after she made sure I was stable after the shit with my mom she cut me off. Like that." He snapped his fingers
I have her hand a few squeezes as a smile formed on my face.
"Now that you're okay. I'm going to go." Amir stood up before stretching
"Bye." Rose laughed
He scoffed then left the room.
"He swear he important." Tory laughed
"You noticed that too?"
"You see how bro is dressed. He think he Drake, I've summed it up."
"You're ignorant." I laughed with a shake of my head
Rose began to laugh but soon stopped and held her stomach.
"What's wrong?" I mildly panicked
"I can't laugh too much. My stitches would pop." She smiled up at me trying to stop from laughing again
She soon stopped her Google and turned toward the incubator. The room fell silent.
"How long will he be in here?"
"A few weeks."
I heard a small gasp from her then the room fell silent again.
"Can I touch him?"
"Yeah."
I rose from the bed and carefully rolled the incubator toward her. She only stare at it.
"I can't touch him."
"Not his skin yet mamas. Don't want to get him sick."
"I wanna hold him." Her voice diminished with her last word
I slightly sighed and look down at him.
