Not All Heroes Wear Capes

[A/N: This title is so stupid, I cant even 😂 but anyway, this is gonna be a bit different (the black 5sos fam is different so wym?) and I hope you enjoy, my melanin babes! Btw, G/Y/D means "Girl You Dislike". And also, her eyes are gonna be green lolololololololol Xoxo]

Ashton:
*His Pov*

I was on a date with my beautiful girlfriend, G/Y/D for our one year anniversary. We were out at dinner, and we both held the menu, scanning for a good choice. As the waiter scribbled down our orders, I looked up at G/Y/D and smiled.

The waiter swiftly took our menus after our order, and she rested her chin in her hands as she batted her eyelashes at me.

"You're such a babe," she smiled, giggling like crazy.

I pulled her in and pecked her lips, and my hands felt for hers, but she bagged them away, suddenly losing eye contact. She was staring past me, her eyes filling with a sudden want as she completely blocked me out.

"G/Y/D?" I questioned suddenly, earning no answer in return.

I turned around in my seat to see who she was gazing at, only to find a fine looking young man grinning right back at her.

I faced G/Y/D and frowned, feeling furious.

"Really, G/Y/D?" I almost yelled.

She looked at me and held my hands in her own. The look coming from both of her green eyes told me everything about what she was thinking, and about what she was going to say.

"I've been wondering..." she started, "how do you still feel about having an open relationship?"

I threw her hands off of me in disgust, standing up in my seat. "I don't think I can do this anymore. I'm going to be in the bathroom if you need me," I growled.

I stormed off, my anger and sadness colliding. I gave her so many chances, I told her how I felt, hoping she would change. But no; still the same G/Y/D I met from outside that club a year ago.

The moment flooded back to me in a flash. I realized everything we had going was never there; we were just two different people.

When I walked into the bathroom, I saw a man, pinning a gorgeous black woman against the wall. She was dressed fancy, and so was he, hinting that they had been here for a romantic dinner. Her makeup was streaming down her face as he growled to her. I noticed bruises all over her perfect brown body, and my eyes trailed up to the arm that was firmly gripped on her arm.

"Leave if you want," he said to her, "I will always find you!"

She flinched at his very words. I was quite sure that the both of them didn't notice me, and the bathroom was entirely empty besides the three of us.

"I will hurt you even more than I already have if you try running off like that again!" He said between gritted teeth, pressing himself against her even more.

Finally, he slowly turned his head and looked at the reflection in the mirror of me standing there, looking shocked.

He spoke to the mirror, still looking at my reflection, "Is there a problem?"

My eyes wandered over to the girl, and she wiped her eyes, sniffling as she tried her hardest to act tough and not fazed, as if it was something she was taught for when people walked in on her being abused. She looked at me as if she was trying to tell me that it wasn't my battle to fight, but I couldn't help it.

"Well?" The man yelled.

"Sir, you should calm down. And there is no absolute reason you have to treat such a beautiful lady like her the way you do," I replied calmly to her defense.

He stepped in, coming closer to my face. "You think you have a say so on what I do to her, white boy? You don't know shit!"

I raised an eyebrow, and stood up bold and unafraid to the man.

"We're leaving, Y/N," he mumbled, snapping at her like she was some dog, while still glaring at me.

She ran to his side and before they made their way out, I grabbed the man's shoulder.

"I won't allow you to take her---"

He impacted my face with his fist, causing me to stumble back. I held my cheek and looked back up at him. I clenched my fist and began beating the coward to nothing. I was so frustrated of how he was treating her, and now, he had laid a hand on me too. It wasn't going to go down that way; Not today.

Y/N was tugging at my button up shirt as I punched the living Hell out of the abusive monster that deserved nothing but the worse.

I didn't stop. I kept going until he was unconscious. That's when I finally hopped off, shaking my hand as my knuckles ached from the constant repeat of the clashing against his facial bones. I wasn't the type to be violent, but he just happened to pull the short end of the stick.

I looked at her, and she didn't seem the slightest bit affected emotionally that her jerk of a boyfriend was lying on the ground, dazed out. I washed my hands and walked back over to her, taking her hand in mine.

"So..." I smiled. "I'm Ashton. I was just leaving. You are?"

Calum:

You sat in the crowded bar, nervously facing the front as you sat in the dark red circular leather chair, your arms resting on the marble counter in front of you.

You slouched, looking around at the tons of men around you. Your skimpy, tight black dress caught many of the lustful eyes in the room. Some sat in the corner, puffing from a cigar as they watched you like hawk. You weren't here for them though; you were just waiting for the next call---for the next customer.

The heels on your feet caused them to feel tired and aching, and you blinked your eyes slowly as you looked at the black retro clock, and you realized it was past twelve. You knew what was coming; you knew what was next.

Suddenly, your cellphone buzzed from your small hand purse, and you instantly broke out in goosebumps. Your hands began to shake as 'Boss' popped up on your screen. You answered it, hearing his deep chuckle from the other end.

"Doll Face, how are you enjoying your second day on the job?"

"I'm not enjoying this job," you said sternly. "I was put in this business against my will."

"Well too bad, Y/N," he sounded agitated. "You have another customer today. He payed a lot for you tonight, since you're still sort of fresh meat. Sort of,"

His low laughs from the other end made you infuriated. He thought this was all fun and games while you went out with complete strangers every night, and he sat back and counted his millions. You hated this job, but you just so happened to be pushed into it.

"Now, Doll, our new customer is outside, and give him a good night, please. This company needs as many good reviews as it can get," he said, before hanging up the phone abruptly.

You took in a deep breath and the bartender came over and slid you the one shot you had wanted. You swallowed it all down, bracing yourself for a wild night.

You hopped down after you sat the crisp dollar bill on the counter. You heard whistles as you made your way outside, seeing a white limo waiting in the dark street.

You walked over and stood as the limo driver got out and opened the door for you. There, sitting as he gazed at you, was a tan boy, who looked like he was in his early twenties. He had dark hair, which looked so soft to touch. He had a white button up shirt with a black tie, and black skinny jeans.

That's quite the outfit... You thought, rolling your eyes.

You hopped in next to him, as the door closed behind you.

"Hello, Y/N," he said, sounding a bit nervous.

You were quite stunned that he hadn't already been putting his hands up your dress. You didn't understand why he was acting so nervous, as if he had a long crush on you and finally got to meet you for the first time.

"I'm Calum---Calum Hood." He smiled.

You couldn't deny that his smile was gorgeous, and almost contagious. You looked away quickly. You didn't really have much to say.

As you were driving back to his place, he talked to you, like a normal human being, ignoring the fact that you were some prostitute working in some hidden business. He kept eye contact with you, instead of letting his eyes wonder down your body like you were nothing but a sex appeal. He even got you to laugh, which was rare for you ever since you were thrown into this job. Once you stopped in front of a large gate, you knew this Calum guy had loads of money.  When the black gate finally opened, you drove up a hill, revealing the biggest mansion you had ever lied eyes on. You almost gasped, but you didn't want to boost his ego, if he had one.

"You... You live here?" You asked, looking over at him.

"Of course," he beamed. "you like?"

You nodded and sank back down into the car seat. When you came to a complete stop in front of the large doors, the door was opened for you again, instead, this time by Calum. He simply turned down the limo driver's wishes to open the door for the both of you.

It was sweet of him. You hadn't been treated like this before. The guy you had yesterday simply picked you up and got it over with, but Calum... he had something so great about him.

"Thank you," you half smiled, as he took you by the arm.

He led you inside his wonderful home, and your eyes wandered all around. There was so much space, so many windows... so much of everything. You looked up at the chandelier dangling above the two of you. It glistened as you gazed at it.

"Real diamonds?" You asked.

"Real diamonds."

He led you up the staircase, his hand never leaving yours. You followed, and once you two were upstairs, he walked you to his master bedroom, that he slept in alone.

You followed him in, and he closed the door behind the two of you. You sat down on his large bed, taking off your heels. You already knew the routine; there was no use in wasting time.

When your bare feet was on his carpet floor, you looked up at him, a question floating around in your clouded mind.

"Why are you treating me like this?" You just went ahead and asked. "I mean, I'm just some lousy prostitute---"

"Don't say that," his Australian accent flooding out, "You're a beautiful human being, and you have feelings too. You deserve much more than what you get; I can see the gentle, caring woman you are inside,"

"Well... are we going to do this or not?" You sighed, changing the subject.

"I've never done this before," he took in a deep breath.

"Wait what?" You stood up. "You can't have your first time with me! Do you realize what I am? You deserve better!"

He bit his lip, looking down at his shoes. "I can't be a virgin forever---"

"That doesn't mean you have to lose it to me!"

He ran his fingers through his hair, and breathed out heavily. He sat down on his bed, patting the spot next to him. You sat back down, and took his hands and squeezed them.

"I know you've paid a ton of money for me tonight... but I can't do this to a nice young man like you."

He gazed at you, and instantly, you both kissed. It was something like you've never had before; so sweet and tender. His hands slid around your waist as he leant into you, feeling your plump lips on his own.

When he parted, he peered into your fragile soul. "I want to buy you... I want you for my own."

Michael:

"Could you be a sweet darling and buy some milk for me?" Your mother smiled at you, "My wallet is on the table."

"Yeah, sure."

You threw on your sweater and some jeans, along with your black boots. You didn't whine or complain about having to walk a mile all the way to Kroger. You were fine with it, because after all your mother had done, you couldn't turn down her request.

You headed out the door and began walking to the store in the cold air. You clutched onto your sweater, hiding your face inside of it.

Walking to Kroger in December. What a lovely thing to do!  You thought to yourself sarcastically.

~

You had arrived after half an hour and went straight towards the back of the store. You walked towards the milk section, quietly scanning for the type your mom always bought.

You noticed a man looking at you from afar, and when you caught eye contact, he looked away instantly. You shrugged it off.

Maybe men his age always like to stare at young girls. You laughed to yourself.

You grabbed the milk and made your way to the snack aisle to treat yourself for coming all the way here. You gazed at the various of candies that were displayed upon the shelf. You simply couldn't decide.

"Hey," a raspy, deep voice whispered to you.

You spun around to see the man you had caught staring at you, his hair grey and balding. He smiled pervertedly at you.

"I see you have an eye for candy," he chuckled.

You falsely giggled along with him, feeling a bit uncomfortable.

"I like sweets, too,"  he grinned at you, scanning you from your toes all the way up to your terrified face.

"Oh. That's nice. I probably should be going now---"

The man grabbed your arm and held it tight and firm. You could feel his yellow nails sinking into your soft skin as he gritted his teeth.

"You're not going anywhere," he whispered to you, his teeth grinding together.

"Let me go." You demanded. "Or I'll scream so loud that people will look this way,"

That didn't seem to stop him though. Underneath his brown coat was a pistol, aimed right at you with his other hand.

"Scream..." He came closer to your ear, "I dare you,"

You shivered and now began to panic, as he nudged you up towards the aisle, towards the exit. You still hadn't left the empty aisle, and the man was so close to you as you walked. It looked quite strange; anyone could tell.

"Hey!" A voice shouted from behind the both of you.

You turned around and your eyes met with a tall boy who looked about your age. He had pale skin and bright red colored hair. He stood and watched the man carefully.

"Let her go," he said, his eyes narrowing in on the man.

You shook your head 'no', signaling the boy to leave the man be. After all, you didn't want such a cute boy to get shot over you.

"And who are you to tell me?" The man began to get angry. "This could be my own daughter for all you know!"

"It's a bit sickening to watch you whisper to your 'daughter' like that," he fired back.

The aging man moved closer to the boy, his arm still hidden under his coat. He revealed the gun to the boy to scare him up.

But the boy walked over bold and unafraid.

"If you take a step closer, I'll shoot you!"

And with that one quote, the entire store fell silent for a split second, and then people began screaming and rushing for the exit.

The boy didn't stop though. He tried to get over to you, but the man stood in his path. After he realized threatening his life wasn't stopping the boy, he ran over to you and wrapped his arm around your neck, pretty much strangling you. He put the gun to your head.

"Come. Any. Closer," he growled, "and I'll blow her brains out."

Tears began streaming down your face and you began to tremble. "Please," you begged.

The boy watched the man carefully before bursting into total laughter. "Why not just cut the crap already? I saw you take that toy gun from it's package in the other aisle!"

The man loosened his grip around your neck and took a small breath in. He felt embarrassed now, so he let you go roughly, pushing you to the ground and bolting off, out of store with everyone else.

As you could hear police sirens in the distance, the tall male ran over to you and held you close to him as you sat on the tile floor. You began to cry, mostly because you were overwhelmed, but you also cried because you were thankful.

He held you close as you cried into his chest. He was such a gentle stranger, and you found it odd; but you didn't care much about that. After all, this stranger had saved your life from some lousy kidnapper.

"Who are you?" You asked politely, looking up into your hero's eyes.

"I'm Michael... I was just here to buy some chocolate milk for a friend, but I guess that didn't turn out right." He giggled.

You could feel the goosebumps all over your skin. He helped you onto your feet as the police ran into the store. They checked over you to make sure you were okay, and asked both you and Michael a series of questions. You answered them to the best of your ability, and when you finished, you went outside and sat on the pavement, calling your mother. You told her about everything that had happened and that you weren't comfortable walking home alone.

She made the phone call fast, just so she could hurry over and make sure you were okay. As you waited, watching the police officers scout around the area, Michael walked over and sat down next to you.

"I hope you're okay after all of that... that seemed like a pretty tough situation to be in," he sighed, losing eye contact.

You agreed silently, and hugged your knees. You weren't the slightest bit sure of what had happened in there, and your body was still shaking uncontrollably. You looked at your hands, and they shook like crazy. You were still shaken up, and your breathing was becoming uneven.

But that's until his warm hands touched yours; you suddenly felt safe, and you calmed down immediately. His green eyes caught your attention. You couldn't stop staring all of sudden.

"Thanks for saving me today... I don't know how I can ever repay you," you shook your head.

"There is one way," he grinned at you.

"And that is?" You smiled flirtatiously.

"Giving me your number and letting me take you out to dinner tomorrow night."

Luke:

You and your ex boyfriend, Luke, had been broken up for a few weeks. You missed him like crazy, but you never wanted to admit that. You stayed inside often, and you began to get so depressed, your friends had to drag you out of the house for a girls' night out.

So there you were, in the back of the car with your three friends as they drove to a night club that one of them had been raving so much about.

They all had been giggling and talking like they normally did, but you just sat quietly in the back seat, scrolling on your phone, not saying much of anything.

You still were hung up on Luke, and they knew it, that's why they wanted to hang out tonight; to show that you had options and one guy can't have a lock down on your heart forever.

"You know, Y/N," Y/F/N sighed, keeping her eyes on the road, "you gotta open yourself up tonight---"

"And by that, she means your legs." your other friend giggled, earning a playful slap on the shoulder by your other bestie that had been driving.

"As I was saying, just have fun tonight. There's no one holding you back now. You're single and you're ready to mingle," she whooped, causing you to crack a smile.

"You guys are so lame." You chuckled.

                *******************

After the four of you were parked, you all got in the long line and waited to get inside. You could hear the booming music from the outside walls of the night club. People were chattering and laughing, even your friends. You still couldn't take your mind off of him though. Luke was the only one you wanted to be with right about now.

The line moved quickly, and before you knew it, you were showing the body guards your I.D. and paying to get in. You walked in, your y/e/c orbs getting an eye full of people grinding against one another and multicolor strobe lights flashing around, causing you to instantly get a headache.

Your friends hastily ran to the dance floor, dragging you along with them.

"This is your song, Y/N!"

As they all began to dance goofily, you shook your head and began to laugh at your silly friends. They always knew how to make you happy, even in the worse times. You finally joined in and began dancing with all of them; you placed your hands on your knees and started to shake like there was no tomorrow, and your friends boosted you up with cheers as you danced. (I'm laughing so hard while I'm writing this lmao)

Before you knew it, you all were dancing attractively this time, and you couldn't deny that most eyes were on the four of you now. One guy specifically caught your eye, and he was a beauty. His hazel eyes were locked onto you as he plastered a grin on his face. He walked over to you, towering above you.

"Hi," he smiled, talking over the loud music. "I'm Nate."

You held out your hand and he shook it. "I'm Y/N,"

He raised an eyebrow as he half smiled. "Are you...?"

"Yes," you said, sounding annoyed. "I'm Luke's ex girlfriend."

His smile faded and his eyes widened. "Since when?"

After you paused and lost eye contact, he looked at you apologetically. "I'm sorry for bringing that up... I thought you guys were still together,"

"It's fine," you said, hinting that you wanted to change the topic. But for some apparent reason, he just wouldn't let go.

"You know, if I were him, I wouldn't give you up for the world---"

"That's nice to know."

You walked off, suddenly ticked at how bold this guy was. Luke breaking up with you was still a touchy subject, and him swooning you wasn't making things any better. You walked over to the bar, and had a seat, ordering a water. When Nate sat down next to you, you rolled your eyes.

"What do you want?" You asked, frustration expressed all over your face.

"I want to buy you a drink," he said, "if that's alright?"

He flashed you a sympathetic smile which was beautiful in so many ways, and you were gradually becoming flattered.

It's my night. It won't hurt to have a little fun.

You nodded. "Fine."

***********

It had been at least an hour and a half and you had lost count of how many drinks you had, but you didn't mind. Nate wasn't drinking as much, but he payed for all of your alcoholic beverages without second thought.

Your friends suddenly came over, their arms crossed as they cut eyes at Nate.

"Y/N," one of your friends said to you as she leant over your shoulder from behind, "it's time to go home."

You turned around, your vision blurred and hazy. "No. I want to stay here," you slurred your words.

You turned back to Nate and asked him, in a sluggish tone, for another drink. He nodded, a wide smirk on his face. Your friends watched at how he wasn't intoxicated by the slightest bit, but you were, and they immediately knew something was up.

"Y/N, you should come home with us. It's time for us to go now," your other friend repeated, dangling her car keys in her hand.

"I'll take her home," Nate volunteered, his hazel eyes showing annoyance to your three close friends.

They raised their lips at him as if he was trash that hadn't been taken out in a week and rolled their eyes.

"We weren't talking to you. We were talking to our friend. Plus, aren't you supposed to be drunk or something too?"

As the atmosphere intensified between your three friends and the nice gentleman you had just met, you rubbed your forehead. Your last glass of beer was brought to you and you drunk it down to the very last drop as your friends snapped on Nate behind you.

"Guys," you said, blinking slowly, "it's okay. Nate can take me home,"

They looked at you and almost laughed. "You really think we're gonna leave you here with this guy you barely even know? No, girl. You came here with us, you're leaving with us. It's for your safety. You know you're not in your right mindset right now,"

"It's okay! I'll call you guys tonight when I get home, and everything will be alright. Just please... You guys brought me here to have fun so that's what I'm doing!"

They stared at you for a long time, then switched gazes to Nate.

"Okay..." your friend said, shaking her head as she raised her eyebrows.

Your companions had exited the club, and left you with the friendly stranger. Knowing that no one else was inside the club that knew you, he took you by the wrist after he left a tip on the counter. You followed, your legs wobbling and your head dangling from side to side. He took you outside to the parking lot, where his car was, and he unlocked it and threw you in the back seat, climbing in behind you.

"What are we doing in here?---"

His lips crashed into your neck as he firmly gripped your butt. He kissed your neck so passionately and aggressively, and you squinted your eyes as he lied on top of you. He began sucking and biting at your neck, and clawing his nails into your sides as his legs held you in place.

"S-Stop..." You said, your voice small and your words exaggerated.

"Aww, come on, Y/N," he grinned at you as his breaths began to get heavy. "Luke never did you like this, did he?"

He took off his shirt and leant back down to kiss you. You tried pushing him off, but he just pinned your arms to the seat, while using the other half of his body to pin your legs down as well.

You yelped, shaking your head from side to side. "Stop!"

He tried to muffle your screams by shoving his tongue down your throat, while massaging your thigh with his right hand. That only made you more furious; you bit his tongue as hard as you could and he yelled. You tried to use those few seconds to get free, but he slapped you on your cheek and pinned you down again.

"Do something stupid like that again and I will make you regret it!" He said, coming back down to your face. "I've wanted you for myself for all this time and now that Luke's out of the way, I can have you, any way I want to."

You finally realized what Nate really was. He was a stalker. He had been watching you, wanting you, while you were with Luke. He knew you were going to be here tonight, so he planned everything out perfectly. He was quite the smart one after all.

He licked your neck, where he had left the hickey, and he trailed down to your breasts.

"Get off of me!" your words rolled off your tongue as you saw multiple figures of the strange guy on top of you. You screamed so loud now, you were pretty sure anyone in the parking lot could hear you.

He cupped his hand over your mouth and nose, the pressure almost suffocating you. You slapped his arm repeatedly, trying to tell him that you couldn't breathe, but it only made the pressure stronger. Tears streamed down your face as you tried to squirm free and gasp for air. You could feel your lungs almost collapsing as they tried to expand. Your legs squirmed and you gave your best effort to pry his hand from your face.

"Shhh," he said, grinning at you.

Suddenly, the car door yanked open and someone yanked Nate off of you. You sat up, breathing heavily. A lanky figure began to brawl with him as you sat up in the back seat of the car, watching nervously. There were noises of two guys fighting, and after a few minutes, it was silent.

Finally, the same tall figure revealed himself, and he stood there, watching you. You couldn't make out his face, though.

"Y/N?" a familiar Australian accent called to you.

You paused, and when he came closer, you instantly knew who it was. You broke into sobs as he pulled you out of the back seat of the car and held you close. You wrapped your legs around him and sobbed into his shoulder as he leant against the side of the car, burying his face in your chest. You could hear multiple footsteps running your way. When you looked up, still holding onto Luke as he held you up from the ground, you could see the rest of the band and your friends all heading over. You hopped down and your friends came over to you and they all hugged you, checking to see if you were okay. There was a bruise on your left cheek, and your sides. You felt so ashamed.

"Y/N," Michael gasped, hugging you with so much comfort.

Ashton was looking angrily at Nate, who was spread out on the ground, as Calum came over and asked if you were alright. Everyone seemed so shaken up, and they were all out of breath.

In the distance, you could hear police sirens. You weren't sure who called them yet, but you knew it was for the incident that had just happened.

You turned around and you could see Luke, gazing at you with a doleful look in his blue eyes. The moonlight shined on his pale face, and his blonde hair was nicely done as usual. You headed over to him, shivering as you met eyes with him.
Without saying anything, he took off his jacket and wrapped it around you, then he pulled you closer to him.

"Thank you..." You whispered.

And the two of you stayed like that for a long while until the police and ambulance arrived to ask questions.

**************

That was shit... but Part 2? ;))))))

Lolololololol I'm so tired. I just spent like an hour trying to finish this up and it ended up being longer than I expected.

But I'll see you guys in the next imagine/preference!
