How to...Tumblr-ize Your Room on a Budget
Dang, it's been a while. Hi... again. 😬 Welcome back! How are you doing?
Well, I'm off this week b/c it's finally Spring Break, so I found some time to spend on Wattpad. Idk if you have had Spring Break already or are currently on it, but if you have some spare time, feel free to try any of the DIYs I will be posting all this week. 🙌🏼🌺
So, it's Spring, and with Spring comes Spring cleaning. Therefore, you may feel the need to give your room an entirely different look. Personally, Tumblr bedrooms are my dream bedrooms, but trying to recreate them can require some pretty deep pocket, which I don't have at all. So, if you're in the same boat as me, I'm here to help you "Tumblr-ize" your room for cheap. 🤑💕

1.) Paint your room one solid color.
Tumblr bedrooms are usually all white, but feel free to use whatever color you like.
2.) Make a photo collage.
Print out a few of your favorite pics and create a collage out of them. For inspiration, look at photo collages on Tumblr.
3.) Get some cute lighting fixtures.
Tumblr is known for using Christmas lights for practically everything, so feel free to keep them up in your room all-year round without guilt.
4.) Buy some new bedding.
Whether it's plain simple or an elaborate pattern, choose some cute bed sheets and decorate your bed with some throw pillows.
5.) Decorate your walls with quotes.
Choose quotes that make you feel empowered, have deep meaning to you, embrace your personality, etc. You can find TONS of quotes on Pinterest and Tumblr. Feel free to paint them on or use sticker letters.
6.) Use Amazon.
This is where saving money comes into play. What I find works best is finding room decor/bedding being sold on sites like Urban Outfitters, Pottery Barn, etc that I like and searching for them on Amazon. This allows me to have a cute Tumblr room without breaking the bank.
