Chapter 10- I'm Sorry
I wiped away my last tears and got off the floor.
Alejandro should be gone so I went to the sink and washed my face with cold water the redness and most of the puffiness went away then I left.
I walked to the table where we were eating and saw Cameron looking for me.
"Oh gosh Adrian there you are. I thought you left without telling me."
Cameron said with his hand on his chest.
Then he spotted my face, knowing something was wrong with me.
"Wha– what's wrong. What happened?"
I shook my head.
"I can't, I just can't please understand that anything that happens from now is for you, and only you. Okay no matter what people might say this is all for you Cameron remember that."
"Adrian I'm not understanding what you're saying, what's all for me?"
He says with confusion.
"I can't explain what it is, but if or when you find out– please remember that I did this for your sake, not mine, not anybody's. Please tell me you're going to remember that."
I say.
"Yes I will, but please tell me what's going on. I need to know."
Cameron says getting closer to me.
I backed up not being able to look at him I looked at the ground and clenched my fist.
"I–i–i. I can't I'm sorry. I just can't."
I couldn't handle it a tear fell down my cheek and I ran off.
Cameron called out to me, but I didn't stop I kept running. He tried to keep up; I was just too fast. I got out the door and ran around the building. Hiding myself from him. Around two minutes later Cameron came out looking all around him for me.
He started to yell.
"Adrian!!!.... Adrian!?!?"
His shoulders dropped and he looked down. He started to cry and walked back into the go cart rink.
I held back from crying and walked away.
I was on Clark St. When Noa called me.
I told him what happened and said I might do what Alejandro said. Ultimately I decided to think about it.
"So yeah that's what happened and I didn't know what to do And I guess I broke up with Cameron I think I'm not sure and I don't know what to do. Listen give me some time to think and I will call you with what I'm going to do."
I hanged up and walked into my house.
Still alone; wishing Cameron was here.
I went to the kitchen where Cameron and I stood just a few hours ago.
The living room was cool so I went to the couch and laid down in all garbs. I grabbed a pillow and covered my fave in it.
After about an hour I decided to go to the police. I needed to go to the police. If the video got leaked then they can take it down. This is the best thing i could do to end this nightmare and to help my relationship with Cameron.
I got up went to the island where I left my phone then I called Noa.
"Hello?"
"Noa. I'm gonna go to the cops Alejandro basically has child porn. He can get serious jail time for that."
"Oh okay okay, sorry I have to go bye."
Noa hung up.
So I decided to go to his house.
I grabbed my bike and road to his house.
*thump thump thump*
I knocked on Noa's door.
"One second." Noa's nice almost sexy voice -did I really say that- voice came from the other side.
Then he opened it slightly enough so I could see his face.
"Hello- oh hey Adrian sorry I can't talk right now and I'm really busy so yeah sorry." Then he tried to close the door.
"Heyyy, why you kicking me out? Come on I just want to talk for like five minutes then I'll go."
I forced my way through the door.
Then I saw Noa in his underwear.
Not weird, but right now it seemed strange.
I squinted my eyes.
"Um, okay I need to use your computer real quick."
I say walking to his room.
"NO!"
Noa grabs my hand.
"What the hell is your problem?"
"Nothing, please Adrian can you leave?"
"No what the hell."
I walk to his room and opened his door then I go into shock.
Alejandro was naked, he was facing the bed away from me.
"About time, whoever was at the door must be really important that they interrupted us before the good part."
Alejandro said.
He turned around opening a condom still naked.
"SHIT!" He yelled.
Then scrambled to get a shirt to cover himself.
"What the hell is this?!?!"
I say turning to Noa.
"No Adrian please. It's not like you think. Me and him aren't together we just, hook up every now and then and-"
"AND WHAT!?" You're just hooking up with my ex, like that should me feel any better. Even right after I told you what he's trying to do to me now!"
I say looking at both of them.
Then Alejandro laughed.
"You're such an idiot he's helping me play you, he called me after you called him. After I came here for him to get the video ready to upload in case you don't live up to your promise and then we started doing-"
Noa cut off Alejandro.
"SHUT UP YOU RETARD!!"
I was in tears.
"Noa you're my best fucking friend. Why would you do this to me? With him, you said you hated him."
I shook my head then I saw Alejandro's phone on the nightstand.
"Adrian I'm sorry we haven't put it into the computer yet, I started to do things with him to see if he would forget to do it."
Noa said.
That was my chance I ran to the nightstand and grabbed the phone.
Alejandro dropped the shirt he used to cover himself and the condom he was opening then yelled.
"HEY!!"
He lunged at me and I elbowed him in the stomach and kneed him in the ribs. Then I started to run, Noa grabbed me and we started wrestling. I ended up shoving him against the wall, roughly, and he let go of me. I ran out the room, the hallway, the living room, the door, to my bike. I shoved Alejandro's phone in my pocket and picked my bike up. Then Noa came through the door and I hopped on my bike and rode off.
All I heard from the distance was Noa's faint voice.
"I'm sorry!!"
