Cliche #2: Headphones
Nino turned red as he glared at a guilty-looking Alya.
"Why did you break my headphones?"He roared, angrily.
"It wasn't me!"She argued.
Her first day at school and Marinette wasn't with her in the class to help.
"It was obviously you!"He exclaimed as he pointed at the broken headset in her hands.
Alya whimpered. She sets what's left of the headset down on his table and runs out of the classroom, tears running down her eyes. Nino was too angry to care, his classmates stated at disbelief. The chill, laid back Nino was fuming. He slumped on his chair throwing the broken headphones into the trash bin beside him.
"Nino,"Rose started from behind him.
"that wasn't very nice."
"She broke my headphones!"He exclaimed
"Is that nice?"
Rose cowered, a frown on her face. Nino sharply turned back to face the chalkboard, ignoring all the stares and whispers behind him.
He hated this. He hated Alya. Nino did not feel guilty. Not at all.
Time skip to the end of the day. Alya just witnessed the best fight and superhero team in the world: Ladybug and Chat Noir! She has always been fascinated by superheroes and now that Paris has, not one but two heroes, she just couldn't keep it all in. She immediately started blabbering to Marinette about how she was planning to start a blog about them.
"I think that's a great idea!"Marinette smiled, nervously.
"I know ri-"Alya was interrupted by a grunt. The two girls turn forward to see Nino, he side glanced at Alya, sending a glare in the process.
Alya slumped in her seat in guilt. First few days of school and she already had an enemy.
"You should talk to him, tell him what really happened."Marinette suggested, she knew all about the dilemma. Alya texted her the night before.
Alya groaned, her face falling onto the table. Meanwhile, Adrien turns around and smiles at Marinette, who looks away with a "mph".
Suddenly, Alya perked up, causing Marinette to yelp.
"I know just what to do!"
"Bye, Marinette! See you tomorrow!"Alya waved goodbye as her friend walked away with a black umbrella. She had just arrived and was confused as to why Marinete was all red. Must've been allergies.
Alya pulled out her own umbrella from her bag and opened it. She closed her bag, making sure to grip the box she was holding tightly so it wouldn't fall. All she had to do was deliver it to Nino's locker.
Luckily for her, Nino exited the school doors. When he saw her he frowned and attempted to walk away and would've if it weren't for Alya.
"Wait!"She called out.
Nino's eye twitched in annoyance before turning around.
"What."
"I'm sorry about the headphones. It wasn't me. You left it on the table and it fell to the floor. Ivan and Kim accidentally fell on it, don't ask how, and it broke."She explained.
"I tried to fix it, but you came in and it looked like I broke it. I was going to explain but you didn't let me."
Nino didn't answer.
"Here, I got you new headphones."She said as she handed him the box. Nino gingerly took it, their fingers brushing for a moment. He was frozen, his face turned slightly pink but Alya thought it was the rain effect.
Tire screeches were heard and Alya turned around to see her car.
"My ride's here."
She looked at him and decided to hand him her umbrella. Before Nino could protest, Alya started walking towards her car, not minding the rain drops.
"Second day of school and someone's already got a boyfriend."Trixx teased Alya, tail wagging excitedly.
"No, he's just a friend."Alya smiled as he stepped into her car, waving goodbye to Nino.
Nino's face turned redder than Nathaniel's hair. Giving a slight wave, he let out a breath as her car zoomed away. Nino sighed then quickly covered his mouth. He feels his cheeks and they were warmer than a fire.
"Why am I blushing?"Nino looked down to see a blue little kwami.
"I definitely know why!"Duusu exclaimed.
"It's so beautiful!"
Nino rolled his eyes as the kwami began to cry at the beauty of young love.
