Red Carpet
Hey guys! I always wanted a fanfiction where Adrien and Marinette are celebrities and paparazzi catch them being all sweet and shiz. But I couldn't find any aside from Arranged and Don't Kiss and Tell. If you find one, please tell me! I MEED FLUFFINESS! Anyway, Marinette is a famous fashion designer and Adrien's a model. People basically think that they're dating...so...yeah.
"Now here comes Marinette Dupain-Cheng and it seems that she's with supermodel Adrien Agreste!"The red carpet reporter excitedly announced.
"Miss Marinette! Miss Marinette!"
The reporter called the designer, Marinette notices this and dragged Adrien to the reporter.
"Hi!"Marinette smiled
"Miss Marinette, congratulations on your new line! By the way, I love your dress. Did you make it?"The reporter asked
"Thank you! And yes, I did make it. I also made a mistake on making it strapless"Marinette admitted
"Why, is it because of the cold weather?"The reporter asked
"Yes"Marinette laughed
"Hopefully, this guy would give me his jacket"
She jokingly pointed to Adrien who started laughing beside her.
"Of course, I will"
"So cute!"The reporter said
"So, I heard that you can bake since your parents are bakers. Here's my question, what's your favorite pastry?"The reporter asked
"Uh...macaroons"
"What about you, Adrien?"
"Anything Marinette makes, I love"Adrien smiled
"Okay, next question! Adrien, if you were Marinette for a day, what would you do?"
"Uh..."
Marinette shot Adrien a 'nothing dirty' look.
"I don't know! Everything"
"What about you Marinette, if you were Adrien"
"I'd stitch my mouth"She joked
"You wound me, Princess"Adrien placed a hand to his heart
"Princess?"The reporter asked
"Just a nickname, started when we were fourteen"Marinette dismissed it
"Okay, big question!"The reporter exclaimed
"Are you two dating?"
Marinette and Adrien looked at each other and started leaning closer, the reporter thought they were gonna kiss be they started to laugh and pulled away from their almost kiss.
"No, no we're not"Marinette shook her head
"Unfortunately"Adrien butted in as Marinette laughed, nudging his shoulder.
"Anyways, thanks for the interview! But, I have to go now!"Marinette waved as she dragged Adrien off.
The reporter waved back before turning to face the camera.
"The you have it, folks!Fashion designer Marinette Dupain-Cheng and model Adrien Agreste!"
"I can't believe she thought that we were dating!"Adrien laughed as the two sat in the front row of the fashion show.
"I mean, who would think that we were dating?"
"Yeah..."Marinette silently agreed, she felt something burning in her chest. Was that his way of rejecting her? Or maybe he thinks that the two are just professional.
Adrien didn't notice this, he just smiled as the models walked down the runway.
"He probably has a crush on a model"Marinette muttered
"What?"Adrien asked
"I heard you say something"
"Must be the wind"Marinette shrugged
"Hmm"Adrien hummed suspiciously as Marinette watched the models walking in her work and designs.
He smiled at her concentrated face, full of pride. His best friend was extremely talented and he was proud that she was able to show it to the world.
His smile faltered when he realized that 'best friend' is all they'll ever be.
"She probably doesn't like me, probably likes the male models"Adrien thought to himself, even if he is a male model also...
When the fashion show finished, the walked down the stairs of the exit. Cameras flashed as the two worked their way to Adrien's limos, which was rather far to avoid running over people.
Marinette shivered and Adrien took this a sign. This happened in movies! He removed his jacket and placed it around Marinette, who smiled at him gratefully. Adrien smiled back as the crowd started screaming and taking photos.
Adrien put his arm around Marinette's waist and guided her to the car. He opened the door and let her go in first. He then went in and closed the door.
"You didn't really have to give me your jacket"Marinette smiled as Adrien pulled the divider up so that Gorilla wouldn't hear them.
"I wanted to"Adrien smiled
"Gosh, you're adorable"
He punched her cheeks.
"Stop! The hurts"She whined
Adrien laughed
"Can't help it"
"The press is going to have a field day when they find out that you gave me your jacket. Better stop the flirting or else someone's gonna think that you like me"She teased
"I wouldn't complain"Adrien shrugged, Marinette laughed as she leaned on Adrien.
"You flirt"
"Only with you, though"
The next day, Marinette and Adrien lay in his bed, watching television. Marinette went to Adrien's house often, so it wasn't awkward.
"It seems that Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste might be dating!"The reporter exclaimed as pictures popped up.
"Last night, Adrien gave Marinette his jacket. Look at how adorable they are!"
Adrien laughed
"Told you"Marinette said
"The two were also spotted walking into Adrien's house. It seems like the two are either living together or they are extremely comfortable with each other or they are dating"She said in a sing-song voice
"These reporters are kinda dumb. They're just playing detective. We definitely aren't dating"Marinette shook her head
"Yeah...we aren't"Adrien sighed
"Yeah..."Marinette sighed as well
"Croissants?"
"Sure, why not?"
Alternate Ending, because why not?
Silence started to fill up the room. Tension was strung between the two celebrities.
Marinette let out a long sigh and gathered up her courage.
"That's it!"She exclaimed
"Wha-"Adrien was cut off as Marinette rolled on top of him and kissed him. Adrien was in shock but then relaxed.
When the two parted, Adrien looked up at her.
"Aren't the boys supposed to make the first move?"
"Oh, please. You flirted with me since we were 15"
They laughed, not knowing that there were hundreds of reporters taking photos through Adrien's huge window.
