Weston Koury: Wrong Number
"Mom?" I whisper, trying not to wake up my brother who was in the room next to me.
I hear shuffling on the other line and a voice that was most definitely not my mother.
"Yes sweetie?" The stranger replies in a really high pitched voice.
I roll my eyes, "Sorry, wrong number."
"No no no!" The person squeaks. I laugh a little at the silliness. This person was probably ten years old.
"I'm sorry for bothering you." I whisper. Without waiting for a reply from him, I end the call.
I barely get to close my eyes when my phone vibrates. It was a text.
Unknown number: ello m8
You: I'm sorry I dialed the wrong number
Unknown number: maybe it was meant to be ;)
You: how old r u??
Unknown number: 14 hbu
You: same
Unknown number: whats ur name
You: icarly
Unknown number: I LOVE YOU
You: ur going 2 fast m8
Unknown number: I'm Weston
You: and I'm going to bed
I quickly turn the phone off and set it on my bedside table.
"Goodnight (y/n)." I sigh to myself.
And soon enough, sleep took over me.
I wake up to screaming. Not that horror movie kind of screaming but a big protective step brother kind of screaming.
"Who's this?!" He picks up my phone and shows me all the texts the guy from last night sent.
"My friend!" I quickly say. "Leave! You're invading my privacy!" I point at the door.
He grumbles something to himself and exits the room, not forgetting to slam the door. I roll my eyes. What was he doing in my room anyways? And snooping in my phone? I grab the phone and groan at how much texts unknown number sent. I change his name to Weston and read the texts.
Weston: NO DONT GO
Weston: WHAT DID I DO WRONG BBY
Weston: YOURE THE ONLY 1 WHO UNDERSTANDS ME
Weston: don't leave me!!!!!!!
Weston: did u really leave?
Weston: wow
Weston: WOOOWOWOOW
Weston: two can play at that game
Weston: gnight
Weston: sleep tight

I roll my eyes and text him back.
