Emmys pov
{Flashing back to the Niall/Austin incident. See chapter 28}
I felt bad about blowing off Nicole, but I needed to get out of there. One of the perks of this job is that the pay is really well, so I went online to buy a plane ticket.
When I got to the airport, I dashed for security because my flight was in 8 minutes.
I looked up to the tv and saw a local news channel covering the concert tonight.
"Tonight the world famous boyband, One Direction, performed their first concert of their Take Me Home tour."
"Who'd wanna see a couple of gay Justin Biebers sing songs about ballet and butterflies." A teen boy in front of me snickered to his friend.
*Cough* *cough* "Díck" *cough* *cough* *cough*
The boys slightly turned there heads and of course they glared at me through the corner of their eyes.
"Not only was it One Direction's first concert of the tour," the news woman continued, "but it was also the first concert of their Opening Act, LEM*N Crush."
The tv showed a replay of us singing. The boys eyes went wide and they looked back at me.
"Take a picture, it'll last longer." I smirked.
"Oh God. We're sorr-"
"Don't be," I interrupted, "just watch out for who you're talking to next time."
They walked shell-shocked throughly the line. After I got through the line I sat down and waited for my flight to be called.
"What're you doing here?" A little girl, who looked around 9, asked me. "Aren't you suppose to be singing right now?"
I smiled at her, "nah. I finished that about an hour ago. You a fan?"
"Totally! But shouldn't you be with your band?" Her eyes lit up.
"Yes, but there's something I got to do first. I'm just gonna get to Scotland early."
"Ohhhhhhhh"
"Will flight 29 please began to board." My flight was called over the speaker.
"What's your name?"
"Catie. And my last name in Allen!"
"Well Catie Allen, if you ever decide to come to a concert, if you tell a guard your name, I'll get ya backstage yeah?"
"Thanks!" She hugged me.
"See ya soon Catie!"
"By Emmy!"

The ride wasn't that long. A lot shorter to Glasgow than it was from America.
I walked out of the airport and took in my surroundings. Nothing's really changed since I was here last.
"I'm home." I said to myself.
I grabbed a cab and took it to an address I new by heart.
All of us relatives lived right next to each other. I walked past my old house and smiled. Nothing's really changes except for the way the flowers are arranged.
I walked up and knocked on the door of the one person I knew that wouldn't turn me away.
"Emmy? Is that really you? You've gotten so tall and beautiful!" My Aunt Maria gathered me in a hug. "It's so nice to see ya my lovely!"
"It's good to see you to."
"Well come in come in!" I followed her in the house and smiled when my little cousins ran to hug me.
My aunt and I sat at her kitchen table with tea's in our hands.
"Shouldn't you be with your band darling?" She asked and I laughed.
"That what I'm here about. Aunt Maria, am I making the right decision?"
"What do you mean hon?"
"Am I making the right decision with my life. Mom doesn't seem to think-"
"Well you're mother was an idiot to say those things to you. (A/N: See the end of Ch. 8 if you don't understand) She thinks all stars are trash and waste their life."
"I'm not even welcomed home."
"Well she called complaining about you, when you first left and I told her she was the one making the wrong choice."
"Like she'll ever believe that..."
"Oh she did," she laughed, "took a lot of screaming and shouting, but she got the picture. Hon your mother is worried about you. She misses you and a big part of what she said, she didn't mean."
"She told me I can't come home."
"You already have a home Em. With your friends. They are your family too. Same here. You always are welcomed here also. I know Henna and your step dad miss you."
"I can't show my face there again."
"Yes you can. Like your mother, your overreacting right now." She put her hand on mine. "I promise you if you go home again, you will not be turned away."
"Are you sure?"
"I'm positive!"
{Present Time}
I sighed and looked at my phone. I was sitting on my bunch after our confession meeting. We had one more concert in Glasgow tonight and I had to do something before we perform.
"Hello?" The familiar voice that has always welcomed me for years greeted.
"Hey mom...."
"Oh uh-Emmy. This is not what I would expect on a Saturday morning. Especially after our last conversation."
"Yeah I figured. Mom you're wrong about all that you said." I said and realized that I probably came on strong, but I really don't care. "I'm not wasting my life, I'm making it better. You're wasting your own life if you think I'm gonna do every last thing you demand from me. This is my life mom. A good mother would support me no matter what."
"Are you calling me a bad mother?"
"This is about me. Not you for once, but me. I'm supporting myself right now and more importantly, I'm happy."
"I see..."
"And you have no right to kick me out of the house. Especially when Henna and I helped you pay the bills."
"Then come home."
"Wait-what?!" I was confused.
"I was wrong dear and sorry won't cover it. Next time you are back in the country, come home my baby girl. We-I miss you."
"Wow...I-uh."
I could hear her soft laugh over the phone. "You proved me that you're responsible and mature to take control of your own life, plus your happy. That's what every parent wants to hear. Now I have to go, I'm using up work time and my boss is giving a death glare. I love you Emmy."
"Love you too mom."
I shut my phone and leaned back. That went easier than I thought.
Now that everything is cool back home, I just gotta deal with the whole Niall-Austin situation, but I think that'll be for another day.
~*~*~*~*
We were on stage again. It was our last day in Scotland and I intended to go all out on this last night.
"Let's go Scotland!" I shouted into the mic and smiled as the fans screamed in return.
