24. Ouch
A/N: WHATS UP?!?! DOUBLE POST!!!!! This is a filler chapter.
This chapter takes place during the Nicole/Liam moment in the last chapter.

Harry's pov
"Anything special that you wanna do?" I asked Madison.
"I don't wanna go back to the hotel." She said.
"Kay that narrows it down a bit." I joked.
"How about just walking?"
"I mean if you're up for something that dangerous..."
"Shut up" she said and elbowed me.
As we walked a thought occurred to me that I couldn't shake off. I didn't know what to do so I went for it.
"What was he like?" I asked.
"Who?"
"Your ex."
"Eck Ron"
"Yeah" I said. Maybe this wasn't a good idea....
"It's ok Harry. Ill talk about it. It's not like he's here to do anything about it," she reassured. "He was jealous, bossy, controlling, and whatnot...but he could also be sweet and charming."
"Do you still have...you know..." I stumbled over my words.
"Haha no. He's trash." She stated. "He's probably on the next girl and I-I don't wanna think about that..."
I grabbed her hand.
"Hey. It's ok. You're here and he's there." I said and she pulled her hand away. Ok ouch....
"I know. Just something I don't want to dwell on." She looked away. "Uh maybe we should head back" she said and started walking back to the hotel.
Even though we made up, it still wasn't the same. She won't open up and be comfortable around me like she use to.
When we got to the hotel, we were greeted with paparazzi. Didn't take them long to find us.
"Harry are you and Madison Mitchell dating?"
"No and please move" I heard Madison say. Ok another ouch.
The ride in the elevator was silent and tension-filled.
"Sooo wanna head to my room?" I asked her. "Watch a movie. Hang out?"
"No thanks." She said. "Just tired you know...gotta catch up on some sleep before the concert. Thanks for the invite though." She smiled sadly.
"I understand....good night" I told her.
"Night Harry." She said and walked away. It hurt to see her go. We're on good terms, but I want more.
I slowly walked to my room, but was glad to see my best mate already in there.
"Hey Haz" Louis said to me.
"Hey, whatcha watching?" I asked him.
"The Office."
"Good show" I said and laid in the bed next to him.
"What's going on Harry?" He asked me and turned down the volume.
"What do ya mean?"
"You're not your usual flamboyant self." He pointed out.
"I don't know mate...What am I doing wrong?" I sighed.
"You gotta be more specific."
"With Madison. I'm trying so hard, but it's not working out!"
"Maybe that's your issue. Trying too hard. Give her space mate."
"But I know we're meant to be! We were so close before!"
"I don't wanna say it, but maybe it's not meant to be."
"C'mon Louis you're talking crazy." I said.
"No...I don't think I am. If things aren't really working out, you should probably take a break. Go out with other people. I know there's a long list of women who would die to be with you."
"But I don't want anyone else. I want her."
"I know Haz. Now just doesn't seem like the right time. You never know though. Maybe in the future something will happen."
"I don't want to let go."
"You know yourself better than anyone else Harry. I'm just thinking of other options." He said.
"Yeah I know..."
Madison's pov
"I just feel so bad about it Lynn!" I said as I paced back and forth in the room.
"You're not ready right now. He should understand." She said.
"I could have been nicer though. Ugh I'm so dumb!"
"C'mon you're overthinking this. I get that you're not ready right now. I also know that you have strong feelings for him. He likes you to Mads. A lot. If you can't commit to him soon, you just got to let the dog off the leash. You deserve to be happy and he deserves to be happy."
"Why is this so complicated?!" I groaned and collapsed on top of my bed. "Let's talk about something else. How are you in the sass master from Doncaster?" I asked.
"Ha ha pretty good actually. We've been hanging out more and I feel like things are really working out. I feel like something will happen between us soon."
"That's great!" I said happy for her. "I think he's really into you."
"I would hope so!" She laughed. "I really hope that you and Harry can figure everything out."
"Me too. Me too"

"Wake up Mads!" Someone shouted in my ear.
"Whyyy Emmy?" I moaned.
"We got to practice. Tomorrow's the first show of the tour, and our first proper performance!" She exclaimed.
"I think you're more happy than the rest of us combined." Nicole said and pulled the blanket over her head.
"Let's go guys. Lynn is already downstairs with the boys and I want to be there too!" Emmey said.
It took me twenty minutes to look 'presentable'. I wore NIKE shorts, a Blink 182 tank, converse, and my hair in a messy bun because I don't care right now.
We got downstairs to the lobby and met up with Lynn and the guys.
"You bunch ready to head out?" Liam asked. Nicole just yawned and blinked.
"That's code for yes," I said and we took off. We all managed to fit in a van with 9 people which really surprised me.
When we arrived at the arena, we went to the dressing rooms and my heart sunk at the sight in front of me.
"Harry!" One of the most famous people alive exclaimed.
"Taylor!" He replied and the two embraced.
