The Brothers

Saturday had came and it was the night of Aaliyah's party. Colin assured her that she had nothing to worry about and all of her wishes were going to be fulfilled. While Aaliyah and the girls went out to get pampered, CJ was with Colin.

"Dad, where we goin?" CJ asks.

"Gotta stop by the club, make sure your mother's orders are being taken care of."

"What if they're not?"

"Then that's my ass."

"You're scared of mom?"

"...aren't you?" He says glancing over at CJ who's in the passenger seat.

"A little."

"Me too." Colin agrees and they both chuckle.

They get to the club and as they're walking in Aaliyah calls.

"Yes ma'am?" Colin asks.

"How's everything?"

"I just walked into the club...didn't I say leave everything to me. I got everything under control. It's gonna be just the way you want it."

"It better be, or that's your ass." CJ mumbles.

Colin heard him and thumps his ear. "Shut up." Colin mouths.

"Ow!"

"Where's my son?"

"Our son is at the bar having a shot of tequila." He jokes.

"Colin, don't play with me."

"He's fine...now let me get back to handling business and you get back to enjoying yourself with your girls. We'll see you later."

"Okay. I love you."

"Love you too." Once they hang up a bottle of liquor at the bar drops, causing Colin to quickly look that way.

"Oh yeah dad. You have everything under control."

"How about you go to my office and watch Mickey Mouse clubhouse or somethin..."

"I'm too old for that."

"Oh, but you're not to old to watch Barney.."

"Who told you that?"

"I have my ways...now get upstairs. There's Gatorade in the fridge, snacks in one of the cabinets."

"Yes sir."

"Liyah stop worrying, Colin got everything. Now if it was Odell planning it, then you'd have a reason to worry." Kash jokes.

"I guess you're right."

They pull up to Kai's house and walk up to the door. They knock a few times and she opens the door.

"Hey, come in. I'll be ready in a second."

Aaliyah notices that somethings off with her. "You feeling okay?" She asks.

"Not really. I was making me something quick to eat, and all of a sudden I just got nauseous over the smell and..."

"...and you might be pregnant." Aaliyah says cutting her off. Aaliyah smiles.

"We need to get you a test...just to make sure." Kash adds.

"The look on cam's face when you tell him will be priceless. Colin's was. And just think, we weren't married, we barely about to graduate college. Had no money, no real jobs, and he was happy as hell. Y'all have been wanting this. So let me be the first to congratulate you. Motherhood is a beautiful thing."

"And I guess I'll be the second to congratulate you."

"Thank you both! But let's get the test to be sure."

They leave to go get a couple of tests, and after what seems like hours of waiting, both tested positive.

"Okay, so I call dibs on being the god-mother." Kash says.

"Bitch, you already have my son as a god child. Let me have this one."

"Exactly, which means I'm the perfect one to have the title."

"What if you both be his or her God mommies."

"No." They both say at the same time.

"Let's just decide this another day."

"So when do you plan on telling Cam?"

"Not till after tonight. If I tell him now, he's gonna get paranoid and say don't go to the club tonight. Just sucks I can't drink and let loose."

"It's okay. I'll take some shots for you." Kash says.

"Thanks, that makes me feel a lot better." Kai says sarcastically and they head out to get their day started.

Cam only joined Colin at the club for an hour or so, then he went off on his own. Making it back to the house, he walks into the bedroom to strip into something comfortable. Kai didn't do that good of a job hiding the pregnancy tests because Cam quickly stumbled upon them.

He smiled looking at both of the test that read positive. He decided he wouldn't call her right now. She's out with the girls, and he'd address it when she got home. He did send her a text message though.

Smiling as she glances at the text, she sends a quick reply.

Kai makes it home around 6. She's immediately met with hug and a passionate kiss from Cam.

"I missed you." He says.

"I missed you."

"How was your day. Anything interesting happen?" He asks, but before she could answer, he took the pregnancy tests from his pockets. "Found them in the restroom...so this is for real? We're having a baby?"

Kai smiles and nods. "Yeah. We are."

"I love you."

"I love you too."

"Aaliyah and Kash know?"

"Yeah, they were with me."

"Who won the God-mother battle?"

"Neither. I haven't decided."

"Let me make it easier for you. Who'd you rather have be the god-father, Colin, or Odell."

"Colin."

"Then you have your answer."

"So Aaliyah?"

"If you just want the baby to have one God-mother. But maybe the baby can have two God-mommies. Boom. Problem solved."

"I guess the baby could."

Later that night, Colin didn't feel like driving, so he gets Shaun to drive he and Aaliyah to the club. CJ stayed over with Cam and Kai. Aaliyah completely understood why they decided to stay in for the night. She got to spend the day with Kai and that's all that mattered.

The arrive at the club the same time Kash and Odell do. Luke's already here. Colin purposely scheduled Carly to work tonight so she'd be at the bar and out the way.

The night goes on, and Kash steps away to use the restroom. She takes Aaliyah with her and on the way back, they bump into Carly who's upstairs serving drinks. Aaliyah noticed the earrings she had been looking for, and so did Kash.

"You got about five seconds to hand over my earrings." Aaliyah says.

"No, she has one." Kash says.

"I don't know what you're talking about."

"Bitch we aren't dumb. Those are her earrings and like I said, you have less than a second to hand them over, before I hand you an ass whoopin." Kash says.

"You're crazy." She says and tries to walk away but Kash pushes her back.

"Yo, what the hell's goin on?" Luke asks as he and Colin walks by.

"This bitch stole my earrings." Aaliyah says looking at Colin. They're a pair of earrings he recognizes because he bought them.

"If those are hers, give them back." Colin says.

"They're not hers. Luke got them for me, tell them."

Luke looks at Colin, Kash, and Aaliyah, who's giving him death stares.

"Uh yeah...yeah, I bought them."

"Unbelievable." Aaliyah says before walking away.

"Lyin ass bitch." Kash says as she pops her in the head.

"Kash, chill the fuck out." Luke says hopping in front of Carly.

"Get your boy." She says to Colin before walking after Aaliyah. Colin shakes his head then goes after Aaliyah as well.

"Ay, you good?" He asks.

"Do I look like it?"

"Don't let a pair of earrings ruin your night."

"It's not the earrings, it's your pussy whipped ass brother."

"I'll take care of that. Don't worry about him. Enjoy your night."

She nods. He gives her a kiss on the cheek. "I'm gonna go make my rounds with everyone and I'll be back up here."

"Okay."

"And you, Rocky...behave."

"She better keep her ass at the damn bar."

"She will. Now y'all go have another drink and calm down." Colin says then walks away.
