Chapter 16: Evade

So she wants to fight me?
This might not go as planned for any longer. She wants to kill me. Simply put, it was a motive set right from the start. Monokuma wanted someone on the island to attempt to kill me. I get killed, and then there's a trial held, and nothing ends. It would be better to keep them from not knowing, or else the real mastermind might create more viscous motives.
I suppose one fight won't hurt
And so, I shut things down and appeared as so
"Well well what does Tits McGee want with me now? A mastermind needs sleep you know~"
"Well I don't care! Are you gonna fight me or not?!" Akane was dead serious about this
"What What? Dearie you have read the rules right? You...Can read right?"
Akane cracked her knuckles together "Hey! You don't have to be rude to me, after all, you should be saying your goodbyes instead!"
I just laughed a little and cooed "And who would I say goodbye to~?"
"Who cares! I'm pummeling you here and now!"
Hajime's POV
(Ps: Sorry if this isn't exactly how it happened, I can't remember)
The night was calm and peaceful for a while, before a scream rang out and Nekomaru started gathering people up
Of course though, I was more like dragged against my free will
"N-Nekomaru calm down! What's going on?"
Sonia picked up right after "A-Akane is trying to fight Y/N!!!"
Akane is fighting Y/N?
As soon as everyone had gathered up, with the exception of Fuyuhiko, we all ran to where the fight was going on
And we were met with an unbelievable sight...
Akane was....
...
..
.
Completely fine? Y/N surely would have killed her by this time? It was clear that Akane got some hits on Y/N, proof being the bruises on her, but that means she would be executed?
"I'm getting booooored, can't you stop so I can kill you?"
Akane was sweating buckets, and panting from the exhaustion "I'm not going to stop until this ends with you face down on the beach!"
Most of us on the sidelines were a mix of bewilderment, horror, and a small mix of excitement from battle?
Komaeda spoke up "That's it Akane! Show the game master what an ultimate can do!"
Hiyoko scoffed "Shouldn't you be worried she's going to die you trash?!"
Komaeda just laughed it off and we continued watching until Nekomaru stood forward
"ENOUGH!!! THIS ISN'T A FAIR FIGHT!"
Both Akane and Y/N stopped, but Y/N didn't look like she cared at all "Eh? Well Life's not fair"
Y/N laughed some more as she pulled out a remote control and Monokuma popped up "And now it's time for another execution!"
Wait, Execution?!
"H-Hey now! That's too extreme to do!" I spoke up, and Y/N gave me a glare "Read the Rules porcupine, ya can't hurt the mastermind"
Nekomaru started getting more upset "Enough with this!" And he went to punch Y/N, but instead...
Monokuma exploded, and Akane was standing right by him "Did ya see that! Took him down while he was distracted"
It was quiet as we waited for the smoke to clear up, but instead, an insane laughter was heard "Upupupu! And you just dug your own grave!"
Once the smoke did clear, only Monokuma was there
"Did I just say mastermind? I'm sorry, I mean the headmaster"
Most of the events went by too quick to comprehend
Once I did get my bearings, I saw a rocket heading toward Akane. It all happened in a quick flash, the sound of the ocean quickly being the only sound heard. As the smoke cleared up, a voice rang out as well
"N-Nekomaru!"
Nekomaru was laying down, with an unholy amour of blood on him from the rocket
As we rushed to Nekomaru's side, Monokuma went and took him away. He didn't attack Monokuma, so he has to be brought back to health. We've all had a long night, but as we all left and went our separate ways to our dorms, something was bothering me
Akane didn't have a single scratch on her from when she was fighting Y/N
So could that mean
Y/N wasn't fighting back at all?
