"Mikey why you going?" she asked, her voice quiet and shy. She didn't want him to go, who would play Mario kart with her. Who would cuddle her when she had a nightmare. She did not understand it, did he do it on purpose?
He looked over to her seeing her staring at him. Waiting for his response. He did not want to leave her, he wanted to stay he wanted to play 'Mario kart' but he knew that going on tour was going to be an amazing experience. "I'm going to go and play music with the boys for a lot of people" he explained. She looked down to her hands, soft sobs escaped her lips. His heart cracked at the sound. "Please don't cry baby I will come back," he said, his voice soft and gentle. He slowly placed his finger under her chin and lifted her head so that her eyes were looking into his. "I'm really sorry that I have to go but I love you," he said his voice shaking slightly. However her tears did not calm down they continued to rush down her face.
He was not sure of how to help her. He tried to cuddle but the thought of her brother being away for so long had upset her. It had upset her so much. He looked around her room for ideas when he had an amazing idea. He saw the princess mirror that she had in her room. Slowly, he stood up and held out his hand "Honey, follow me" he said. She placed her hand in his and followed him to the mirror. "Now honey do you see this mirror?" he questioned. She nodded her head. "Well, this mirror isn't just any mirror. This mirror is magic. So when I leave to go to tour and you feel sad that I'm not here I want you to go to this mirror and tell it everything you want to tell me. I will hear all these things because the magic will tell me," he explained. She looked up at him her eyes wide "Really!" she explained. He nodded his head and she smiled wrapping her arms around him. "I love you Mikey" she shouted. "I love you too Y/N" he replied.
He knew the mirror thing was silly but he knew that it would help her and that's all he cared about.
