If your name is Leah, change the character in the story to lucy
New schools were tough. You had to learn where everything was, you had to try to make friends whilst maintaining good grades. It was too much to handle. The first day began with Michael driving you to school trying to give you tips on how to be cool. He then dropped you off without giving you any direction on where you need to go causing you to get horribly lost and ask the most friendly person you could see for the directions to the main office. Afer finally getting there and receiving your locker number and timetable. You went to the first lesson which was English. The teacher there was friendly and didn't make you do the embarrassing instruction to the class. In that lesson, you were sat next to a girl called Leah, who wore a Fall out boy t-shirt which made you like her immediately. "Hi, I'm Y/N," you said trying to introduce yourself. "Hey, Y/N," She replied. After 10 minutes, you and Leah were acquainted and she offered you to sit with her friends at lunch. Which you agreed to and you were thankful that you wouldn't have to eat your lunch alone.
After 3 more lessons, it was lunch and you met Leah near your locker and she took you to her regular table introducing you to her friends. They were all quiet and stuck to their own conversations however they allowed you to join in and asked some questions about music taste and what not. However with 10 minutes of lunch left. They all said they were going to go behind the bike sheds. You followed not wanting to be left alone.
However, tuis was a bad idea. They were smoking, something you had never done and did not want to do. Thy all had their own cigarettes and didn't care about the toxic fumes that were affecting your breathing. Your thoughts were interrupted by the sound of Leah "Do yo want a drag?" She questioned. They all stared at you and the pressure built however you don't want to ignore your morals and you shook your head "I'm okay," you said. "Come on, have you ever smoked before?" Asked one of the boys from the group. "No, I haven't," you said feeling more anxious as the conversation progressed. "Why don't you try it now?" asked one of the girls. Before you could reply the bell rang signalling the end of lunch. "I'm okay, I better head to class," You said and walked away from the group.
After the awful encounter, the next two lessons dragged but the end of school bell finally rang. You walked out of the gates and saw Leah's group. "look its the weak child" said one of he boys. ""Yeah, don't htink you're sittting with us tommorow," said Leah. You laughed and waved at them not wanting to giving them the satifcation of making you sad, You heard the sound of the beep of Michael's car. You smiled at him and got into the car. "hey y/n are those yor friends?" He asked pointing to Leah's group. You laughed "Not anymore," you replied. "WHta do you mean?" He questioned. "They wanted me to smoke, but that wasn't happening," You replied. "I'm so proud of you," he replies. "Thanks Mikey," you said.
