Well shit
Melissa
"You know, when you get over those gates, then what? The walkers are lined up at least twenty deep. How are you gonna get down? Distract them? Then you'll have the few that follow you, and those few become more and more, until you're surrounded." Shit. I turned around and looked at Michonne.
"What happens when you fall down and twist your ankle? You won't be able to run."
"Micho--"
"Say you get past the walkers. You're completely lost. You have no idea where your dad could be. And, he's redirecting a herd, so they'll spot you before you spot them. Going out alone you have no backup. What happens when your back's against a wall? Take them out with your crossbow and knives because bullets will just attract more?" I groaned.
"Michonne, my dad's in trouble. I know he is. So Is Glenn and Nicholas. Sasha, Abraham. . . I gotta try and help." I argued. I was sitting at the top of the walls, so that one leg was dangling over the inside of Alexandra, and one was dangling high above the walkers.
"You're seventeen."
"Yeah, I'm not a child, Michonne. I know what I'm doing." I said, looking down at her.
"You're seventeen and alone out there. You'll get lost before anything. That is, if you make it past the walkers." I looked down at the walkers. A gust of wind flew by, and I placed my hands on the wall, making sure I didn't fall off.
"Michonne, let me do this. I'm sick of being treated like I'm a child. You gotta have faith in me."
Michonne rolled her eyes. "What about Carl, huh? You want us to tell him that you went over the walls? I'd like to see how that works out." She said. "And your dad? What happens when you get hurt and he comes back and sees you? I wouldn't wanna be around when that happens." I groaned.
"Stop making points, I'm trying to argue with you." I whined. She raised an eyebrow and an amused look was on her face. "Fine, I'll come down now, but you can't stop me from leaving tomorrow, I'll give them another day. If they're not back by tomorrow afternoon, I'm going out there to look for them." I said. Michonne shrugged.
"Fair enough." She said. I slowly brought my leg over the wall and began climbing down, hopping off once I was low enough to the ground. I walked up to her and looked at her.
"You sure you weren't a lawyer? You're pretty persuasive. Make good points." I said, crossing my arms.
"Well, that doesn't matter. Now, I'm a cop. I get to tell you what to do. I just needed to get in your head. It always works." She said before turning on her heel and walking away. I scoffed and rolled my eyes, walking back to put the weapons away.
"You decided to change your mind! Good choice!" I turned around and saw Ron. I was right outside of my house. Can't I walk a little faster?
"I'm leaving tomorrow. Don't flatter yourself." I turned back around and walked inside. I smelt fresh cookies and walked into the kitchen.
"Yay, cookies!" I chuckled, grabbing one and eating it. Carol smiled.
"Where's Carl?" I asked, leaning against the counter. Carol nodded her head towards the stairs.
"Putting Judith to sleep. Told me to tell you to go see him." She winked. I rolled my eyes
"Carol, gross!" I whine, turning around and walking upstairs. I heard Carol chuckle before I made it upstairs. I walked up to ricks room, seeing Judith asleep in her crib. I looking around to room for Carl, but didn't see him.
Suddenly, I felt a pair of arms grab me, covering my mouth and dragging me into Carl's bedroom. My heart leapt in my chest, before hearing Carl laugh. I let out a breath and turned around. I slapped his arm.
"Not funny." I frowned. Carl stopped laughing, but he had a smirk on his face. "Is that all you called me upstairs for?" I asked. Before I knew it, I was pushed up against the door, it closing in the process.
"Nope. Just wanted to have some fun." He smirked before crashing his lips against my own roughly. Out of instinct, I hung my arms loosely around his neck. I still feel the butterflies. I wonder if they ever go away. I don't really care, though. I love them.
I brought my hands to Carl's hair, feeling how long it was.
"I'm gonna give you a haircut." I smiled, breaking apart for a quick moment, before Carl reconnected us once again.
"Not gonna happen." He mumbled against my lips. I smiled into the kisses.
"Damn, I love you." He said, slowly breaking apart. I looked at his swollen lips and traced my finger over them.
"I love you more." I whispered, smiling. He shook his head, kissing the finger that was on his lips.
"Nah. That's impossible."

I laid cuddled up beside Carl, his arms wrapped around me. Rick was sitting at the end of the bed, asking for our opinion on what we should do about the six of us that are still out there.
"We can't just sit back and wait for them to come back. We should be out there looking." I said. Rick sighed.
"They've surrounded us at least twenty deep, until we can think of a plan to get around them, there's nothing we can do." Rick said.
"Glenn said he would send us a signal. He never sent us the signal to tell us if he was okay. We gotta start thinking of what could've happened. . ." Carl's voice trailed off and I sat up straight, looking at him.
"My dads out there! Don't you dare say they might be dead!" I was breathing pretty heavily, and I looked over at Rick. "We won't just give up. We're not like that." I said to him, standing up.
"We're not. Hey, we're not like that." Rick said calmly.
"We're not like that." I repeated before turning around and walking out the bedroom door. I heard Carl sigh before I turned the corner and walked down the stairs.
"Carol!" I jumped, seeing her almost run into me. "Hey. Everything alright?" I asked. She didn't answer, she just handed me Judith and reached behind me, grabbing something before quickly rushing out the door. "Carol?" I asked. She slammed the door, making Judith jump and wake up, crying.
"Uh. . . shh, Judith. It's okay baby. It's alright." I whispered, bouncing her lightly on my arms and rubbing her back. She slowly stopped crying and went back to sleep.
"Everything alright?" I heard Carl ask. Rick walked past me and out the door and I turned around, handing Judith to Carl.
"Yeah, everything's fine." I said, looking over at the door. I heard Carl walk back up the stairs to put Judy to sleep, and the front door opened, revealing Michonne.
"You're still here." She observed. I nodded.
"For now." I looked over at her. "I told you-one day. If they aren't here by noon tomorrow--"
"If they aren't here by noon tomorrow you're going after them. I know." She said, sitting down. I nodded.
"I can't stand it here. Everyone acts like nothing out there is happening. They just wanna hide away in their homes and pretend everything's gonna be okay. Then walkers come and they're acting like they've never seen it before. It's ridiculous. None of them have been through anything close to what we've been through. We gotta teach them how to fight. How to be strong, or else they're all gonna die." I ranted. She nodded.
"We're teaching them to fight. Rosita, Rick, hell, Gabriel's putting up signs for a prayer circle. We're preparing them for what's coming." She said.
"You mean when the walkers break down the walls? I think. . ." I stopped talking when I heard Carl walk down the stairs. I walked closer to Michonne and talked in a whisper.
"I think something really bad's gonna happen to us. I think most of us are gonna die. I think I'm gonna die."

"What are you getting bullets for?" I asked, making Ron jump and shove the bullets into his pocket. We had finished teaching him how to shoot, and he's been following Carl around most of the day. I got a shady feeling from him. Something wasn't right with him.
"Didn't Rick tell you not to waste the bullets?" I asked. He nodded, looking over at me. He began walking away and I let him walk past me.
"Who're you thinking of shooting?" I asked, making him freeze. "Rick? Carl? Daryl? Or were you just thinking of trying to rid of the walkers with only a dozen bullets or so? I don't see any other reason to carry a loaded gun, unless you're trying to kill someone here. Who is it, Ron?" I asked, turning around and walking up to him, holding my own gun.
"What, you gonna take the bullets away? Here." He clenched his jaw and held out the bullets. I shrugged, taking out my own gun. Rick let me have his Python, since he has a new gun.
"I'm not gonna take your bullets. You have a good reason to be carrying them. But, I'm warning you, I got a few years of experience with this stuff," I whispered, getting real close to him.
"You hurt anyone, I'll take my gun and fire a bullet right. . .here." I whispered slowly, placing my gun on his forehead, between his eyebrows. He gulped, obviously getting nervous.
"You won't kill me." He said back. I smirked, amused at how sure he was.
"Try me." I taunted, slowly putting my gun back and backing up.
"You saying this makes me wanna do it all the more." He said lowly.
"Go ahead. Just know you have us to deal with after. Goodbye, Ron." I smiled before turning around and walking away.
"You know, you really creep me out!" He yelled, his voice shaky.
"Good." I answered back, turning a corner and disappearing from his sight. I caught up with a bunch of us, standing by the watch tower. I walked over to Carl and stood beside him.
I heard the sound of wood snapping and I looked up, seeing the tower slowly leaning to the side. My eyes grew wide as the moans of the walkers grew louder over the creaking of the tower.
"Everybody move!" Rick yelled. Carl grabbed my hand and we turned around, running towards Rick. The tower fell behind us, creating a think cloud of dust and smoke.
I looked behind us and saw walkers piling in the town. I grabbed my gun and turned around, aiming it at the walkers.
"Melissa, don't. Don't waste bullets." Carl said quickly. I followed them, them being Rick, Deanna, Ron, and michonne.
I heard gunshots going off, and I saw Deanna shooting at walkers, except she wasn't hitting their heads.
A walker tackled her and she fell to the ground. My eyes grew wide as I let go of Carl's hand and kicked the walker off of her as Rick helped her up. Her side was bleeding and she must've fell onto something.
We ran away from the herd as fast as we could, but there were so many. I saw a walker coming towards me, but a gunshot went off and it fell to the ground. I looked over to the houses and saw Jesse standing outside of her door.
"Rick, come inside,I got Judith!" She said quickly. Carl grabbed my hand again and we rushed into the house, shutting and locking the door behind us. We all quickly brought Deanna into a room and laid her on the bed. I looked at her shirt and saw fresh blood on it. I gently lifted it up and saw a bite mark.
"Well shit. . ."
