September 1, 1997
"Come one, come all to the Cry Baby Carnival! Enjoy yourselves! Don't forget to visit the Freaks at the Freakshow!"
Families and fun, games, rides, and colors. This is what intrigued the visitors once they entered the Cry Baby Carnival. A place where normal people went crazy. Where they enjoyed themselves watching others swallow swords and twist their bodies into shapes no normal human could even imagine.
Children running through the corn mazes happily, parents pointing at the clowns performing balloon tricks and women getting sliced in half only to be placed back together like magic.
Popcorn kernels and trash infested grounds and joyful laughter.
Cry Baby Carnival was the place everyone wanted to be.
Until...
"Johnny? Johnny, where are you?" a man ran through the crowd frantically, searching for the lost little boy. "Johnny?!"
He shoved past people, scanning each and every face carefully to try and look for his son who somehow got away from his sights.
Clouds started rolling into the city in the distance, and rain promised to invite itself over for the night. The party did not cease to continue, and people kept on going about their visit with their families and significant others.
"Have you seen my son, Johnny? He's about this tall, has brown hair and brown eyes—"
"Sorry, haven't seen him."
It was the response any parent would dread. Their kid is somewhere out there in the crowd of people and not one of them have seen a kid running around unattended or supervised.
The more the man searched, the more the man came out empty, the more fry started he got. He ran his hands through his hair, sweat was seen bleeding through his shirt and his fine was contorted into pure fear.
However, there was one place he hasn't searched in.
CRY BABY CORN MAZE
The dad never came here with his son before, maybe he was curious enough to look through here. He stood right at the entrance, staring at the sign with lights outlining it. He looked to the left, down the road that led to the main entrance to the actual carnival.
Was his son even in the maze?
It was worth searching, at least.
Stepping into the rows of green and yellow. The dead plants crunched in between the man's shoes. He could hear laughter weaving through the sticks and shadows of children running through.
He had an eerie feeling in his stomach. As if some creature were to pop out.
"Hurry, he's coming!" a child shouted. The man turned his head immediately to his right where a group of boys were turning the corner and running his direction. They turned their heads every once in a while to see if anyone was behind them.
The man stood there completely still as the boys ran past him. None of their faces belonged to his son. He stopped once the kids that were left behind with his hand.
"Who are you running from?" he asked the kid.
The boy only smiled at him,
"The clown, he's after us!" he said before running again.
The man watched the boy run out of sight. He turned to the direction in which they came from.
Perhaps the clown knew where his son was. He followed the trail of shoe prints they left behind, his guard completely alert and focused on finding Johnny.
"Johnny? Where are you?" he called.
It was at that moment that the cloud finally appeared, covering the sky and the sun from shining any longer. For the color of all had vanished, and replaced with a black and white film. As the man continue his journey, he ended up getting lost.
Lost in a field of corn, where the clown was said to be. The children were all gone, not a single sound coming from anywhere except for the air rushing through the corn. The man stopped midway down a row and started to look around for any sign of life.
"Little boy blue come blow your horn." a small, croaking voice said, It was the kind of voice that belonged to a fifty year old smoker. The kind of voice that made the man stand stiff in his spot. "The sheep's in the meadow, the cow's in the corn." it continued.
Following the sound, he felt a knot in his stomach as he went into a new row. This row had a haystack at the very end, standing proud and tall.
"But where's the boy who looks after the sheep?" a figure slowly appeared from the side, squeezing through the corn. It was a large clown wearing a white and red suit. His makeup was completely and utterly destroyed, along with a huge scar coming from his temple, through his right eye, and down to his jaw.
Never has the man seen a clown so... repulsive. Why was he allowed in here?
"He's under the haystack, fast asleep." the clown continued, walking closer and closer to the mortified man until they were face to face.
The clown's white complexion was peeling off as if it were second skin, and his clothes were dirty and torn. His eyes were bloodshot red and he had smudged on black paint around his eyes.
"Will you wake him? No, not I; for if I do, he's sure to die." the clown's eyes widnened for emphasis and he began to chuckle darkly before holding up something by his head.
A bloody knife.
The clown mailed out of the way, giving the man a good look at the small body now laying on top of the haystack, covered in red.
Little Johnny.
The man let out a terrifying scream that made all the birds fly out from hiding in the fields and into the skies.

"Monsters! You're all monsters!" the man shouted in pure hot anger. The cry he let out caused a whole crowd of people to crowd around the scene where the man was.
The clown hadn't moved from his spot, calmly watching as the people gazed at the scene before them.
"Where did you put Danny boy?!" a man shouted.
"Did you murder little Sarah, too?!"
As the crowd started to get riled up, the clown's grip on the knife he had behind his back tightened. His eyes peered down on the man who was holding his slaughtered son in his arms.
"Wait, no, stop!" a new voice shouted in the distance. Everyone turned to see the rest of the carnival workers run through the people and surround the clown as a protective shield.
"Don't you dare hurt Twisty, he's innocent!" the same person said. It was an Asian lady, probably in her late twenties. She had dark long hair that set of a blue undertone and pale white skin.
She was "Lady Magnificent" the famous acrobat from Korea. She was married to the owner of the Carnival as well.
"Lady Magnificent, please go back inside, we will take care of this." the three breasted lady said. Her bronze arms stretched out to make sure no one took a step closer the clown behind her.
"Where's Henry? Has anyone called for him?" the Lady questioned. Everyone shrugged or shook their head in response. The Lady sighed and looked at the mob in front of them accumulating by the second.
"Please, Lady Magnificent, you have to go. This is not safe for the child." one of the Siamese sisters begged.
"Yes, madam, go back." the other one agreed.
Lady Magnificent looked down at her stomach that has already grown in size during the past couple of months. Her arms went down and patted her baby inside, slightly kicking her.
"What is going on here?" a new voice joined.
Everyone turned their heads to the man walking up to the commotion. He was a handsome fellow with a perfectly trimmed mustache curled at the sides. His hair was styled to the side and glued securely with gel.
"That rotten clown!" an old man in the mob pointed at the clown in accusation. "What kind of sick, twisted joke are you Freaks doing? That child," his wrinkly finger pointed away from the clown and to the Lady's stomach. "That child is cursed."
Everyone gasped, the three breasted woman was the first to step up and blocked the Lady.
"That child... will bear the pain that this evil and demonic Carnival has put our children through. And this Carnival will fall... with all of you in it!" he shouted.
It was then that a horrifying battle cry was heard in the distance. The clown was built up with rage. He shoved past the midget and the bearded lady with the knife in hand. He raised it in the air and let it pierce through the elder's heart.
Gasps were heard again. The clown gel the bloody knife in his hands tightly, staring straight into the old man's widened eyes. He let out small croaks of pain until he collapsed on the floor.
"Kill them all!"

Henry and Lady Magnificent barely made it out of the corn field alive. With them running hand in hand, they were frequently turning around to see if anyone was after them.
They weaved through the crowd in the carnival, the people there were still unaware of the bloodbath in the maze.
"Henry, stop!" the Lady told him. Henry stopped running and turned around to face his wife who was sweating like crazy.
"What, what's wrong?" his eyes traveled down to her stomach. His wife's white dress was stained with a puddle of water coming from her abdomen.
Before Henry could respond, Lady Magnificent already collapsed on her knees with a sharp cry of pain. His eyes widened in horror, and he only had a bit of time to grab her hand and help her up off her feet to continue running.
The mob was after them.
"C'mon, baby," he panted. "just a few more steps."
FIRE AND ICE TENT
Henry opened the tent frantically, his wife crying behind him. She could barely stand on her two feet, and her body was starting to go into contractions.
"Jimin! Yoongi! Where are you?!" the man shouted laying his wife on the stage. It seemed as if he himself was hyperventilating more than her.
"We're closed right now, come back later!" a deep voice shouted from the back of the curtains. The woman placed her hands on her stomach, her toes curled at the stinging sensation inside of her. She screamed once more, catching the attention of the two boys behind the stage.
A boy with red fiery hair and a boy with mint colored hair ran out from the back. They were about the same height, except the shortest one had somewhat tanner skin than the other and his bangs were off to the side as the tallest had his bangs almost completely covering his eyes.
"Lady Magnificent!" they shouted in perfect unison. They ran to her side, each kneeling beside each other with shocked faces.
"She's ready to give birth!" Jimin exclaimed.
"No, really? I thought she just had a balloon inside her for nine months." Yoongi countered sarcastically.
"Why are you such a dick?"
"Why are you such a dipshit?"
"Boys, no fighting!" even if she was in pure and utter pain, Lady Magnificent didn't tolerate any foul language. Her hand reached out and grabbed Jimin's. Yoongi crawled to the opposite side of the woman and took her other hand. He winced slightly at tight the grip she had.
"Baby, just calm down!" Henry panicked, kneeling at her feet.
"You're one to talk, you're screaming louder than she is—"
Lady Magnificent let out an ear piercing shriek, interrupting Yoongi and making the three wince.
"Nevermind,"
"Jimin, go get Desiree!" Henry ordered.
The red haired boy was about to get up until Yoongi spoke,
"There's no time, the baby is ready to get out of there."
"We're gonna have to do it ourselves!" Jimin added.
A terrifying scream was heard once more, only it wasn't Lady Magnificent. The mob had found its way to the Carnival, and people were running and screaming, and crying as men ran around with knifes in their hands, killing whatever Freak roamed the grounds.
Henry looked down at his wife who was still contorting in pain. He realized the only way out of this was to do what he dreaded to face the most. But with all the love and care in the world, he got himself mentally prepared for what was to come.
"Okay," he whispered to himself. He took her hand that held onto Jimin's and kissed the top of it. "okay, okay. I can do this."
But the problem at hand wasn't who was being brought into the world, it was who was being taken out of it.

Present Day
"W-What?" you stuttered in complete shock.
"I want you to be my maid of honor!" Krystal cheered. Her soon-to-be husband right behind her with a smile on his face.
Maid of honor?
Honor of the maid.
A lot of things ran through your mind— mainly fake excuses as to why she couldn't bear such a task— but you quickly sketched those away.
You were a terrible liar.
The engaged couple stood on the other side of the counter at your work place. Of course they had to hold up the line for such a preposterous announcement.
"Uh... are you sure you're not just hungry? You can think better on a full stomach." you stammered, reaching into the display of donuts and picking out her favorite one.
"Come on, (Y/N), we talked about this, you can't use food to try to get out of the conversation—" you held a chocolate donut in front of her. "Ooh, how much?" she asked starting at the treat with hungry eyes.
"$2.00," you smiled triumphantly.
She pouted,
"Okay, but we will talk afterwards." she told you. She turned around to Kai, "Do you want something, babe?"
"No, but being the gentleman I am, I'll be paying for this." he reached into his pocket and holding out a five. "Keep the change," he said to you.
Wow, now you're three dollars closer to paying the bills.
Yay.
Nevertheless, you smiled and handed Krystal her donut. They left smiling and giggling. Kai wrapped an arm around her waist to hold her closer. You wondered what that felt like; to be loved.
"(Y/N), how are you?!" a squeaky voice squeaked in your ear.
You jumped up at the sudden sound. You looked to see who now was standing in front of you. Once you did, it took everything in your power to not lash out. Your hand crumpled up the five under the counter.
"Bom, how are you?" you aske faking the biggest smile you could make.
Great, your stepsister.
