Discrimination against the Police
As many of y'all know, there was a shooting yesterday at a violent "Black Lives Matter" protest in Dallas, and the victims were not the protesters, but rather the police who where trying to stop the violence in the first place.
The real fucked up part in all of this is whenever I get on various social media websites and see a metric fuck ton of posts constantly saying variations of one phrase: "Fuck the Police."
As a fellow Dallas citizen, and having family in law enforcement, I am deeply hurt by these ignorant and insensitive posts. The police are there to protect and enforce the rights of the people of all colors, and it pains me to see these people take all of what they do for granted, all while antagonizing the folks in blue for simply doing their job.
My condolences and so much more go out to the families of the officers harmed and killed in yesterday's shooting. Them and the police themselves, y'all deserve so much more love than y'all get.
