Raura [ON HOLD]

Ross' POV

"H-how is she?" I ask Raini from across the table.

We are having breakfast at Rose D'Amor, the best and most expensive place in town.

"Who?" Raini asks, acting like she doesn't know who I am talking about.

"Raini." I press.

"She's okay, Ross. Laura is okay. She's been better, but she's moving on. You need to move on."

"I know..but"

"No buts. Ross I'm sorry but you are a complete dumbass if you think she is going to forgive you. What you did to her was shit. She didn't deserve that you-"

"Okay, okay I know. I've heard this lecture millions of times from you and Delly. Don't need to hear it again. I know she's done with me...I just can't stop thinking about her."

"Oh my god Ross.." She says flustered.

"Fine, lets change the subject. Any news?"

"Thank you, and as a matter of fact yeah. Andrew just quit. He's finally pursuing his career of photography. He's going to travel the world."

"Wow that's awesome." I smile, "Then again, we did lose one hell of a butler though."

"Yeah, I'm going to miss him." Raini says.

"What about you?" I ask her.

"What?"

"When am I going to see you on Broadway?"

"Psh, never." She smiles.

"C'mon, you need to pursue your dream. And that's acting. You need to get your butt to New York."

"My butt is staying here, thank you very much. And why are you trying to get rid of me? Don't you like my cooking?"

"Raini, you're like a sister to me. I love you, that's why I want you to follow your dream. You deserve better than what we are offering you." I say.

She just sighs and sips some of her coffee.

Rydel's POV

"Ellington.." I start brushing my hair behind my ear nervously.

"Well?" He smiles, "What did Ross do?"

"Uhhh...that's not important." I smile.

"Okay.." He says suspiciously.

There's an awkward pause that seems to take centuries.

"So..." I say, awkwardly.

"So..." He smiles at me.

Gosh he had such an adorable smile.

"So you're coming to Laura's concert with us right?"

"Of course I am! I can't wait."

"Me neither." I smile.

"Do you wanna go grab some lunch?" He asks.

"Uh sure I'll just tell Ross and the bo-" I say turning around only to get pulled back.

"I meant...just you and me." He whispers.

Holy shit.

"Oh..okay yeah sure. Let's go."

Raini's POV

I enter my room after having breakfast with Ross.

He's such a sweetheart...and a dumbass. I still can't believe what he did to Laur. She did right by leaving, I would've done the same.

"Hey Macy," I say to my roommate.

"Hey Raini," she says finishing up getting dressed. "I have to go, I'm already late for the meeting."

"Oh right! You're applying for that internship right?" I say.

"Yeah.. As much as I like working for the Lynch's..I really want to go for my dream. And that's this internship."

"Well good for you, break a leg." I smile.

"Thanks, see you tonight to set up dinner."

"Yeah, see ya."

Once she leaves I lay on my bed and sigh.

I'm in a big mess.

I told Ross about Andrew...well technically.

I told him Andrew quit to pursue photography, but I didn't mention the most important part. Andrew left for Tennessee, he's looking for Laura. And Ross and I know both know that it's not just to say hi.

I'm not sure what to do...Ross, Laura and Andrew are all good friends... I don't want to interfere. But I wonder what Ross would do if he knew..go after her? Leave it be? Would he hate me for not telling him? And if I did, would Andrew and Laura hate me for sending Ross over there? God...what to do..
