Laura's POV

I wake up to my phone buzzing.

I usually keep my phone under my pillow so the vibrations were extra loud.

Who the hell woke me up?

Ugh if there's one thing I hate is people waking me up. I wanna sleep, damn it.

I groan and check phone.

I have two messages:

Ross
Laur you up? I can't sleep.

Ross
Lauraaaa I'm so bored.

I can't help but smile. Okay, only he can wake me up.

I reply: (Laura, Ross)

Darling, it's three in the morning...

I know...but as I said, I can't sleep :(

What can I do?

Come tuck me in?

Ross..it's too far and I don't think I'm ready to go back in that house anytime soon.....

:( Okay I understand..

You know what? Why don't you drive here?

I wait a few minutes, no answer.

Ross?

I'm on my way.

I laugh, then realization kicks in and my heart stops beating. Oh my god I need to clean my room.

I quickly throw my bras and clothes in my drawer. I organize my things and then I rush to the bathroom and clean up there as well.

I go back to my bed and get consumed
in my blankets.

After a few moments I here a faint tapping noise on window.

I eagerly get up and walk over.

Ross is there waving at me in his pajamas.

Aww...

I open the window and a rush of cold air instantly makes it in my room.

Ugh..

Ross jumps in shaking.

"It's really c-cold out."

His hair is a mess, his eyes look sleepy and his lips are trembling

Why do I think this is so hot?

"Here, lay down on my bed." I say, worriedly.

I pull him to my bed and wrap my blankets around him.

I turn to close the window and see him sniffing my blankets from the corner of my eye.

I giggle, "What are you doing?"

He freezes and turns pink. "Uhh...it's just that they smell like you... So.."

I laugh some more.

"Laur.. Aren't you cold?" He says, obviously trying to change the subject.

"Well now that you mention it.. Yeah a little." I say.

"Come here." He says raising his arm and leg to open up the blanket for me.

I debate this I'm my head, but not well enough.

I spring into bed with him.

Warmth instantly takes over my body and I lie there, staring at Ross.

He stares back at me and slowly puts his arm around my waist to hug me.

I nestle in his chest and being my arm around him too.

"Can you sleep now?" I ask.

"Like a baby. But I don't want to."

"Why not?" I ask.

"I don't wanna miss a second of being with you." He says.

I look up at him and kiss his cheek.

He smiles and pulls me closer you him.

He kisses my lips, slowly, tenderly.. helping this moment last forever.

We pull away and I say, "Ross..."

"Yeah?"

"Should we tell Ness about us?"

"Yeah. I mean, she's your sister."

"Will you do it with me?" I hopefully ask.

He grabs my hand and says, "I'd do anything with you."

I blush and we continue talking about random stuff.

After an hour or so Ross goes to sleep, hugging me tight.

I mess with his hair a bit then drift off to sleep as well.

"Laura! Laura! Wake the fuck up!" I hear.

My eyes flutter open and I see a blonde boy in front of me, deep in sleep.

I smile. Aww...my little Ross..

"LAURA! You lazy sack of potatoes! Open this door!"

My eyes widen.

Vanessa.

I shoot up and whisper in Ross' ear: "Baby..get up. C'mon! My sister is right outside."

No response.

I try a few more times but still nothing.

He sure is a heavy sleeper.

I use all my strength to pull him off the bed and set him on the ground.

I grab his arms and drag his body into the bathroom.

I close the bathroom door and run over to my door.

I take a deep breath and open it.

Vanessa stands there, arms folded, glaring at me.

"Morning." I say.

"Morning? Morning?! Laura it's the afternoon. I wanted to let you sleep in, but you over did it. I've been knocking for almost twenty minutes! Are you deaf or something?"

"Sorry...I guess I was pretty behind on sleep."

"Ugh, whatever. Just glad you're up now. It was really boring without you."

I smile, "Well I'm up, and it's gonna get a lot less boring. I have a surprise for you. It should be here in ten minutes or so."

"Oohhh. Okay! I love surprises! I'll be downstairs."

"Great." I say, slamming the door behind me.

I race in the bathroom and dump some water on Ross' head.

He jumps, "What?! Oh god Laura...whyyy!"

"Sorry... I had no choice. C'mon get dressed, you gotta go. "

11 minutes later....

Vanessa's POV

I hear Laura coming down the stairs and my heart starts beating. Man I do love surprises.

"C'mon Ness...the surprise is here." She calls, heading for the front door.

I waste no time following her and soon she's holding the door knob.

"Your surprise is...." She starts.

"Yeah.." I say, excitedly smiling.

She pulls the door open revealing the blonde asshole that broke my sister's heart.

None other than Ross mother fucking Lynch.
