Raura [ON HOLD]

Really short chapter just to get the story going..

Vanessa's POV

"Yes. I'll go out with you." I hear myself tell Rocky.

"I gotta go." Riker suddenly says, walking away.

"Really?" Rocky says, ignoring his brother.

"Yeah." I smile at him.

He pulls me into a hug and I hug back.

Over his shoulder I see Riker and our eyes meet.

He looks almost.....devastated.

What happened with him?

Laura's POV

"I think we made some great progress with our song." I smile at Ross.

It's 11 pm and he's dropping me off at my house.

"Totally. We make a great team." He says.

"Totally." I say.

He smiles and grabs my hand, pulling me to him. Kissing my lips.

We pull away and I walk to the front door.

I look back at him and wave goodbye.

He does the same, then speeds off on Rocky's truck.

I wonder how his brothers got home?

I hold my breath and open the front door.

"Ness?" I call.

"Yeah?" She says. I turn and see her on the couch, watching TV.

"How you doing?" I playfully say, trying to get on her good side.

"I'm not mad Laura." She says, "I accept your decision to be with Ross."

"Really? I should ask Rocky and Riker to do more things for me then." I say smiling.

She just nods and continues to look at the TV.

"Ness...what's up? You seem distant." I ask, my smile fading.

"I made a mistake Laur." She says.

"What?"

"Im going out with Ross' brother."

"That's great! You like Riker right?"

"Yeah. And that's why it's wrong." She says.

"I don't understand..." I whisper.

"I'm going out with Rocky." She clarifies. "He asked me out and I didn't know how to say no"

"Ness....it's okay. Rocky is an amazing guy."

"I know. That's why I can't break his heart."

"Well you can't lie to him either." I say, "Just...give him a chance..maybe he'll win you over."

"That's what I'm afraid of. I really like Riker. And what if it doesn't work out with Rocky? How am I suppose to get close to him without damaging their relationship as brothers?"

"I don't know...." I say.
