Yeri's POV
I couldn't do it.
I couldn't stay there.
I just couldn't.
That traumatizing moment was just the start to my terror...
Narrator's POV
Jungkook was out of his mind mad at himself.
Jungkook: Screw it I'm going in.
Jungkook starts walking into the girls restroom and thank God that there was no one in there...except a sobbing Yeri in the corner with her head in her knees and her hair falling over her shoulders. He walks a little closer but quiet enough so she couldn't hear.
Jungkook: Y-Yeri...I'm so sorry it's all my fault. I should've took your feelings into consideration...I'm sorry.
Yeri looks up with tears all over her face and to most people she looked like a hot mess but in Jungkook's eyes she looks beautiful no matter what, that's what he thought ever since 8th grade.
Yeri: J-Jungkook, it's not your fault. It's just....that movie the whole feeling of being in that theater made memories flow back...I'm so sorry for being so out of the no where but....I just couldn't.
Jungkook walks over to her side and sits down. They sit in silence but she just starts to ball her tired eyes. Jungkook couldn't take it. He gently pushed her head onto his shoulder.
Jungkook: When your ready, you can tell me but for now you can just cry.
Yeri at first was shocked...but she felt that having a shoulder to cry on...it somehow makes her feel like she has been waiting for this shoulder...it's been too long for her to cry in the darkness and just let the breeze pass by. She needed a shoulder for so long...and the fact that this shoulder was once just a human that she could care less about...turns out to be the shoulder that she's been waiting for...the shoulder she needed.
Yeri: Jungkook thank you.
Jungkook: It's ok I'll wait.
Director: Yah! Jungkook get out you can't be in here!
Jungkook: Sorry it's just Yeri had a little problem so I came in.
Director: I know...I saw the footage. I want to talk her. Alone.
Jungkook: Ok.
He walks out.
Director: Yeri, I have something to tell you.
Yeri: Yes.
Director: I think I know why you were like that in the theater.
Yeri: You Do?!?!
Director: Was it 12 years ago?
Yeri: Yes...
Director: Well do you remember that lady you sat next to when you and your dad split up.
Yeri: Are you her?!?!
Director: Yes Yeri. I thought I saw you from somewhere. It never dawned on me that it might've been you though. I remember you not letting go of the door handle when we were leaving the funeral.
Director: You know you can tell me anything.
Yeri: Well that was just one big event in my life...
Director: Oh you poor child you had to go through more?
Yeri: Well I'm not ready yet.
Director: Ok but well have to film tomorrow since this footage will not do.
Yeri giggles while getting up with the director.
Yeri: Yeah.
Director: It's ok though.
Jungkook's POV
I wonder why she really hates horror movies. Her face looks really familiar from when I was watching an action movie.
Flashback 12 years ago (7 years old)
Jungkook: I'm so excited to watch my first superhero movie!
Dad: It's going to be good!
All the sudden I hear gunshots in another theater. My dad grabs me and holds me and then police come. The police goes in the theater and comes out with 3 guys with black clothes and mean faces. Then a little girl comes out with a lady and another boy.
Yeri: MY DADDY IS GONE BECAUSE OF THEM! MY DADDY IS GONE!!!
Lady: Calm down honey it's gonna be okay.
Dad: Excuse me but what happened in there?
Yeri: MY DADDY IS GONE! HE NEVER DID ANYTHING TO THEM!
Lady: There were some guys with guns and her father was trying protect her but...
My dad lets go of me and walks over to Yeri and holds her shoulders.
Dad: Honey, can you calm down?
She slowly calms down.
Dad: I can tell your mad but please don't get mad.
Yeri: Those guys will pay!
Dad: Honey-
Yeri: Don't call me that!! My daddy is the only one allowed to call me that!!!
Dad: Ok then but please just calm down. I'm also a police officer and knuckleheads like those guys always end up in a bad place.
Yeri: Will my dad be okay?
Dad: We don't know...
Lady: I'll take care of her. Where do you live?
I live in Kings apartment. Number 3427.
Lady: Ok I'll drive you there. Thank you sir.
Dad: No problem. Then can I call you sugarplum?
Yeri: Ok...my daddy never called me that.
Dad: Good. I work at the police station. If she needs help Just ask for mister Jeon. They'll know who you're talking about.
Lady: Ok thank you. Let's go Kyungsoo.
Kyungsoo: Yes mom.
They walked away.
