Chapter 7: welcome to New York
"Should we go to Starbucks first?" Taylor asked.
We are about to leave Taylor's New York apartment.
"Sure!" I replied.
I followed Taylor to the lobby of the apartment building. I look through the doors to see a bunch of paparazzi.
"Just like before, don't talk to them. "
I nodded and we walked out. They were shouting a bunch of questions at us again.
"Are you the contest winner?" "How old are you?" "What's your name?" "Do you write songs?"
We got to the limo and climbed in. The drive to Starbucks is very short. I ordered my usual vanilla bean frappé and Taylor got her skinny vanilla latte. Then she paid for the people behind us in line. Once we got our drinks we went back out to the limo. To my surprise, there are no paparazzi waiting for us.
"To the mall!" Taylor told the driver.
"What's your favorite store?"
"Um, I really like forever 21 but I like a lot of stores."
I love forever 21. But I also go to lululemons, buckle, pink, kohls, jc penny's, Charlotte Russe, and charming Charley's.
"I guess we'll just have to go to all the stores then!"
"Ok. "
"This is going to be so much fun!"
Is Taylor really 26? She acts like a teenager. I like that though. It's so cute!
We got to the mall and almost nobody is here. Well, it is Monday so most people are at work.
We walked into the mall and Taylor led me to the first store. It's called lush. We don't have one where I live.
"I don't have one of these where I live!" I said excitedly.
I've always wanted to go to a lush!
"Pick out 5 bath bombs!" Taylor said.
I see tons of ones with sparkles and glitter. Of corse Taylor goes straight for the sparkly ones. I follow.
"Ouch which ever ones you want!" Taylor said.
We both started smelling them. After about 30 minutes we both got 5 bath bombs and checked out. Now we are going to another store. I'm not sure which one yet.
"We have to go to bath and body works!" Taylor squealed.
I followed her into the store.
"Pick a perfume, lotion, and body wash and of corse hand sanitizers!"
I walked around the store and found a perfume called forever RED. I smelled it. It smells amazing! But if corse I only smelled it because it's called forever red and that reminds me of the red era. I'm definitely getting this one! I picked up the perfume, lotion and body wash in the sent. Next I went over to the hand sanitizers. I picked 3. I met Taylor at the check out counter and she paid for everything.
"Thank you so much!" I said.
"No problem, babe!" Taylor said. "Next stop is forever 21!"
Yay. I followed Taylor and we got so many things! Lots of clothes, a few pair of clothes and some new earrings! We spent like 2 hours in there!
"Can we go now? I'm getting tired. " I asked.
We've been shopping for like 4 hours. That's a long time!
"Sure!" Taylor replied.
I'm so happy I won that contest!
"We need to take a selfie to reveal that you are the winner of that contest. "
"Ok!"
Taylor got her iPhone out of her back pocket and took a selfie with me.
She posted it and my phone dinged. I have my notifications turned on for whenever Taylor posts something. I unlocked my phone and went to the post. The selfie is so cute! And she put a caption with it.
"Congrats to the winner of the biggest swiftie contest, Hayden! She is the most sweetest girl ever! She will be staying with me for the next 2 months! I expect all of you guys to be very nice to Hayden!

I put my phone away and I followed Taylor back to the limo and the driver took our bags. After we got back to the apartment I put all my things away. Then me and Taylor went out to dinner.
I took a selfie and put a caption as "welcome To New York! Day 1 is a success!"
