Never Love
Yashina is still troubled about how Ikuto has been acting around her. I'm just over thinking it, Yashina thinks to herself, there's no way Ikuto would avoid me. I'm going to give him a call.
Ringringringringring......no answer.
That's strange, he always picks up whenever I call him. I'll just talk to him about this tomorrow.
Next day, after school, Ikuto is waiting for Yashina at the back of the school building because he got a note in his locker regarding Yashina wanting to talk to him in secret.
"Ikuto-kun!!!!!" Yashina waves at Ikuto and walks towards him.
"Hey...." Ikuto mumbles.
"Ummm....about what I wanted to talk about....are you....avoiding me?" Yashina asks softly.
Ikuto looks away from her and says nothing.
Yashina, realizing what he means, started to tear up. "Whh....whhhyy??? Whh.....whhhyyy....Ikkkuto-kuu...nn? Wa..wa...was it....something that I did???? WHAT DID I DO WRONG!!???" Yashina screams with overflowing tears coming down her face. Her nose was rosy red with her eyes puffy. The tears made streaks across her cheeks and started to dry up.
"I...think.....it would be best.........if we don't be friends anymore." Ikuto says glancing away.
"What....what THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT IKUTO-KUN!! DID YOU BUMP YOUR HEAD OR SOMETHING?! STOP TALKING NONSENSE AND JOKING AROUND WITH ME!!!! IT'S NOT FUNNY!!!!" Yashina yells at her heart's content. Her heart is being ripped apart, the flesh and blood breaking her insides. She is having trouble breathing, taking hard breathes every 3 seconds.
"It's not a joke......I just don't think we were meant to be together. The incident at Christmas, that was fake. It was just from the air of love and happiness around us that made did what we did. Nothing more, nothing less. I got to go now. Bye......." Ikuto says walking away.
"No!" Yashina screams, holding Ikuto's arm, stopping him from walking. "You can't......you....just....can't. After all we've been through together, now you want to be a jerk and run away!!!???? I cared from you whenever you were sick, I backed you up when you were mistreated, I laughed and cried with you............I had all these memories with you......and that was all for nothing? Now you're giving it all up like it never happened!?!?!? I don't know what's been going on your head of yours. Just a few days ago, we were getting along. I cared for you and brought you to my house to give you ice for your head. We.....we were best friends.......what happened????" Yashina asks Ikuto with inpatients.
"Exactly. Best friends. We were just best friends......all this time. Just.....best friends......." Ikuto says, shaking off Yashina's hand off him and walking away.
"You're wrong!!" Yashina screams to him as he's walking away. "We aren't best friends.......not anymore......we're strangers. I fucking hate you Ikuto-kun!!!! I should have NEVER helped you the first day we met!!!!! You asshole!!!! You........ass...hole....." Yashina slumps to the floor, then sobs into her knees.
