We stepped outside to get some fresh air. I saw Milo instructed us and himself to come toward to Dylan, so he can scan us. "Anybody who would like to go first?" Courtney insisted. Since nobody in my group didn't want to go first, I decided to go. I walked towards Dylan then, he asked me to stretch my arms straight. I did what he told me to do and stood still as he scan me. "Your power is telekinesis, Ted. Which means that you can move things with your mind." Dylan said, grinning at me. "Let's test your power to see if you can overcome it." Milo says as he glanced at me. "Alright, I don't see why not?" I replied. I was next to Carlos who was going to mentor me with my power.
He tried to let me look straight, "Alright, Ted, are you ready?" He asked me. "I think so, I hope I'm not messing up anything," I respond, "Ted, it's alright. It takes time for someone to learn something new and plus, I been there. I didn't know how to make a film until the twins showed me." He replied. I tried to focus on what Carlos said. "Just focus, don't look anywhere else it easily distracts you, just focus on one thing." He says, as I tried to move the swings. Just focus, don't let anything distract you, I heard his voice in my head. I moved Deputy's car instead and it went up. Carlos was surprised that I did it. "You can do it baby, keep focusing!" I heard Catherine.
I suddenly put the car down slowly and all I could hear is Carlos's voice called my name. "You did good Ted, just keep practicing and you will do amazing." Carlos said. I saw my group had all kinds of different powers except Gloria. "Hey, didn't you find out your power, yet?" I asked. "No, not yet." She responds. "Okay, Gloria, it's your turn. But in fact, you already have a power." Dylan said. "What do you mean, Dyl?" She questions him.

I was pretty surprised that I was born with a power. "What I mean is, that your power is a shield compared to Milo's and Jorge's. They are like a protector rather, mostly, their minds always have something to do with protection." Dylan clarified. "So basically they always protect everyone around them." I assured, "Exactly," Milo said. "Where's Jorge? I need to ask him something." I asked. since I wanted Jorge, to show me. Dylan pointed where he was mentoring Emma. "Hey, Jorge, can you show Gloria her power?" Milo called him, "What's her power?" He questions, "A shield." I said. He was speechless and glared at Emma, "Oh, I'm sorry I wish I could help you Gloria--," Aaliyah walked up and cut him off, "I can teach you, Gloria. I can also to interact it pretty quickly, but, it might take some time."
Jorge looked at her, "Are you sure Aaliyah?" She rolled her eyes playfully, "You are teaching Emma, right now, and I don't want to see you struggle. Besides, the whole team is doing something else right now. Trust me, I can help her," he smiled at her. "Thanks, I don't know what I will do without you." I followed Aaliyah for a second. "Ok, so, you have to visualize the signs that has despite a person's feelings. If I hurt Milo, for instance, you could tell and remind them it's nothing." She says. Then, Dylan, goes, "You could read their thoughts, you know? To see how scared or nervous they are. But, don't worry you'll get it." "Alright, shall we testify her powers?" Michael asked.
They agreed to do so, I saw Milo with Aaliyah. "Are you sure you know what you are doing, Aaliyah? Because I'm scared." I heard Milo talking to her, "Yes, I do. I'm just trying to see if she can do it, I just know she can do it." She respond to Milo. They held hands but, she squeezed her hand which caused to be electric. I tried to put my power at risk and it didn't work. "Are you kidding me?" Aaliyah said. "I'm sorry, I'm just nervous," I told her, "That's okay, not everything works perfectly at the first time." She replies. "Baby, remember, to stay focus. Don't look at Aaliyah or anyone, just focus on me." Milo told me, "Just think that he was always hurt and his sisters' are beating him." I heard Dylan's voice, "Like really painful." He adds. They did it again, this time I did it. I pictured Milo being hurt so many times, and once my power went toward him he calmed down. Didn't feel anything. "I think she's doing it." Dylan's voice whispers. "Keep doing it Milo, she's doing great," Michael said to him. Once we stopped, I blinked quickly for a second and saw Aaliyah's grin. I finally learned to overcome my new power.
