Alice had been growing a lot and recently she has been going to school. Her teacher says that she does good and works really hard. She's a good girl. I love my baby girl. Now, I'm still the same but, I grew a little bit taller, I look 18 but, I'm 15. Gloria and I saw how much she has grown but, we are worried how much time she will have with us. I sometimes fear that Alice is a grown girl and has other things to worry about than her parents. Anyways, I started to finish school like the others. I'm currently in 9th grade, I'm getting straight A's. So far, I'm getting used to Jorge and Shelby because, I used to hate them so much.
I came home and I saw Alice with her little diploma, "Daddy, I passed pre-school! I'm going to kindergarten!" Gloria and I hugged her, "Awesome Alice!" Gloria said. I kissed her cheek, "I'm smart!" "Of course you are!" I replied. She was so excited, Gloria and I are almost done with high school. We are going to Alice walk with us. "When are you going to graduate high school Daddy?" She asked, "In a few years and we will walk you up to your first day of kindergarten, we promise." I said, smiling at her. "Okay Daddy," she walked away. Michael and I started to finish our homework for a little then, watched a movie. Recently, Michael and I became closer for a little while.
Later, I had dinner with everyone, we had a blast. "Did you have fun at your graduation?" Michael asked, "Yeah, we had pizza and my friends and I played outside." Alice replied, "Who are your friends at school?" Gloria asked. "Emily, Stacey, Kyle, Tasha, James, Justin, Daniel, and Sabrina." She replied. "That's a lot of friends you have, honey." Britney said, "Everyone loves her Mom, they always count on her." Aaliyah responded.

After dinner, I was washing dishes with Milo. Alice was taking a shower so I asked Aaliyah to watch her and help her clean herself up. Milo and I were talking about that our future is working. "Our future is building up babe. I'm so proud." I said. "I know, we built it together. We decided to build that to make us happy. And that's all it matters." He replied smiling. 4 minutes later, I saw Alice in her pajamas. "Look at you, my little doll." I said, bending down to her. "I'm so cozy in my little pajamas." She said. "Yes, you are! You are just like a muffin!" Alice smiled.
Milo and I spent time with Alice in her room. She loved to stay positive, I saw her holding a picture of Milo as a baby. "Yeah, I remember. I was the baby, just like you." Milo said to her, "Do you remember your childhood?" I asked him. "Yeah, a lot. I even remember I walked for the first time and my parents would be shocked." He replied. "Alice where did you get that?" I questioned her, "I don't know I just saw it on the floor. Daddy, Aunt Allison gave it to me I think." Milo bit his lip and grabbed her. "Aunt Allison gave it to you? How?" He asked. "I came home from school and she was sitting on the floor, she handed it to me and said, 'This is a picture of your Daddy. I always loved him.'" We looked at each other, "What does this photo means to her?" He asked, "You were a great brother." She replies. "You're such a good girl." I said. We both kissed her cheeks. "Alright, it's time for bed Alice." Milo tucked her in. "Bedtime story, Daddy." Alice begged, "Why can Mommy read you one?" He chuckled, "I did it yesterday." I replied. Milo rolled his eyes playfully and read a bedtime story. "This a poem, hope you enjoy?" He said.

Bedtime poem:

A daughter is a wonderful blessing.

A treasure from above,

She's laughter, warmth and special charm.

She's thoughtfulness and love

A daughter that brings special joy,

That comes fro deep inside

And as she grows to adulthood,

She fills your heart with pride.

No words can describe

the warm memories.

The pride and gratitude too

that comes from having a

daughter.

To love and cherish... just like you!
