Кацуки и Гию скрывали от всех ещё одну важную деталь — то, что Музан давно знает о них.

Когда они столкнулись с одним из демонов во время миссии, тот, умирая, передал им странное сообщение: «Вы – те, кто привлек внимание Господина». Тогда Кацуки и Гию не придали этому значения, но вскоре столкнулись с ещё одной странностью — несколько низших лун охотились именно на них. Казалось, что демоны не просто убивают охотников, а ищут именно их.

Они обсуждали это между собой, не зная, стоит ли рассказывать остальным. Если Муцан действительно нацелился на них, то это значит, что он либо считает их угрозой, либо хочет использовать в своих целях. Возможно, из-за необычных способностей Кацуки.

Сабито заподозрил, что они что-то скрывают, особенно после нескольких их ночных разговоров и напряжённых взглядов. Но Кацуки и Гию предпочли держать это в секрете, пока не разберутся сами.

Разговор с Сабито

Сабито внимательно слушал, не перебивая. Когда Кацуки закончил, он нахмурился.

— Подождите, вы серьёзно решили скрывать такое?!

Гию вздохнул.

— Мы думали, что так будет лучше…

— Вы оба идиоты, — заявил Сабито, скрестив руки. — Но ладно, раз уж вы решили открыть мне правду, значит, доверяете.

Кацуки ухмыльнулся.

— Ну, теперь да.

Сабито усмехнулся в ответ, но его взгляд стал более серьёзным.

— Так что ты собираешься делать дальше, Кацуки?

— То же, что и всегда. Уничтожать демонов, становиться сильнее и, возможно, когда-нибудь вернуться домой.

Сабито кивнул.

— Что ж, в таком случае я на твоей стороне.

Неожиданное задание

Когда они вернулись в штаб, их уже ждал гонец.

— Кацуки, Гию, вас вызывают к Убуяшики.

Они переглянулись, но не стали тянуть с ответом.

Войдя в комнату главы, они увидели, что там уже собрались остальные столпы.

— Кацуки, Гию, — спокойно заговорил Убуяшики. — У нас появилось новое задание.

Он передал им свиток.

Кацуки развернул его и прочитал.

— Высшая Луна…

Гию нахмурился.

— Значит, нам снова предстоит серьёзный бой.

Остальные столпы тоже читали свиток, пока Убуяшики продолжал.

— Я хочу, чтобы вы отправились туда как можно скорее. Враг силён, и мы не можем позволить ему продолжать убивать людей.

Кацуки кивнул.

— Поняли. Мы выдвигаемся сразу.

Новый бой

На следующий день они уже были в пути.

— Интересно, насколько этот демон силён, — задумчиво проговорил Гию.

Кацуки ухмыльнулся.

— Неважно. В любом случае, мы его разнесём.

Когда они добрались до места, их уже ждал противник — Высшая Луна.

— Ну что, охотники, готовы умереть?

Кацуки лишь ухмыльнулся и встал в боевую стойку.

— А ты готов проиграть?

Гию достал меч.

— Закончим это быстро.

Бой начался.

Katsuki and Giyuu had been keeping another crucial secret — Muzan had long been aware of them.

During one of their missions, they encountered a demon who, in his dying breath, delivered a strange message: "You are the ones who have caught the Master's attention." At the time, Katsuki and Giyuu didn’t think much of it. But soon after, they noticed another unsettling pattern—several Lower Moons were specifically hunting them. It seemed that the demons weren’t just killing Demon Slayers at random; they were looking for them.

They discussed it in private, unsure whether they should tell the others. If Muzan had truly set his sights on them, it could only mean one of two things—either he saw them as a threat, or he wanted to use them for his own purposes. Most likely, because of Katsuki’s unusual abilities.

Sabito had started to suspect they were hiding something, especially after overhearing their late-night conversations and noticing the tension between them. But Katsuki and Giyuu preferred to keep it secret until they understood the situation better.

The Talk with Sabito

Sabito listened carefully, not interrupting. When Katsuki finished explaining, his expression darkened.

"Wait… Are you seriously telling me you decided to keep something this important a secret?!"

Giyuu sighed. "We thought it would be for the best…"

"You two are idiots," Sabito declared, crossing his arms. "But fine. Since you’ve finally decided to tell me, that means you trust me."

Katsuki smirked. "Well, now we do."

Sabito returned the smirk, but his expression quickly turned serious.

"So, what’s your next move, Katsuki?"

"Same as always. Kill demons, get stronger, and maybe, someday, find a way back home."

Sabito nodded. "Well, in that case, I’m on your side."

An Unexpected Mission

When they returned to headquarters, a messenger was already waiting for them.

"Katsuki, Giyuu, Lord Ubuyashiki requests your presence."

They exchanged glances but wasted no time in responding.

As they entered the leader’s chambers, they saw that the other Hashira were already gathered.

"Katsuki, Giyuu," Ubuyashiki spoke calmly. "We have a new mission."

He handed them a scroll.

Katsuki unrolled it and read the contents.

"An Upper Moon…"

Giyuu’s expression hardened. "That means this will be another serious battle."

The other Hashira silently examined the scroll while Ubuyashiki continued.

"I want you to leave as soon as possible. This enemy is powerful, and we cannot allow them to continue slaughtering people."

Katsuki nodded. "Understood. We’ll depart immediately."

A New Battle

The next day, they were already on their way.

"I wonder how strong this demon is," Giyuu mused.

Katsuki smirked. "Doesn’t matter. Either way, we’ll take them down."

When they arrived at their destination, their opponent was already waiting—an Upper Moon.

"Well, well, Demon Slayers. Are you ready to die?"

Katsuki only grinned, shifting into his battle stance.

"Are you ready to lose?"

Giyuu drew his sword. "Let’s end this quickly."

And with that, the fight began.
