Warmth in my heart

In the zenith's bliss, a soft and gentle light,
I find shards of May in puddles on the ground;
Through the cracks of a soul now freed from blight,
Spring enters, waking up without a sound;

​Noontime stillness trembles on the petals' bloom,
The silk of blossoms pulses 'neath the skin;
I no longer march the aimless, ghost-filled gloom
Of all that used to hide where dawns begin;

​The world is clear, as if a steady gaze,
Doubts have faded into lines I can't recall;
I breathe in deep this sweet and fragrant haze -
And flowers blossom, filling heart and all.
